Andy Cohen Shuts Down RHONJ Cast Rumor: ‘It’s Not True’

Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey was divisive and dark. The show is on pause, and Andy Cohen made it clear that fans wouldn’t be hearing any casting news for a while. However, some reports recently surfaced claiming that three members of the current RHONJ cast were returning for Season 15. Now Andy is setting the record straight.

RHONJ alum Kim DePaola alleged that she had some insider tea about the show. “The women were all officially released from their contracts due to it having been six months since they wrapped [filming RHONJ]. Due to this, they are technically let go,” Kim D. said. “Three of the women were given letters by the network to keep them engaged, [and] as a token of good faith.”

Later, a Bravo spokesperson issued a statement saying that “no decisions have been made around casting for RHONJ.” That is in line with what Andy previously said. He informed fans that there would be no news about Jersey casting for a long time.

Welp, Andy shut down the RHONJ rumor mill on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. A caller said, “Andy, while you were gone, there was a definitive like this was gospel from the lord himself that there has been a decision made about New Jersey. There were three people that were staying. Everybody else was going, and then it came out that, ‘Nah, sorry. That’s a lie.'”

Andy Cohen says “Bravo has said nothing”

Andy asked, “Who said that there was a decision made?” The fan continued, “There was a report that there were three people that were staying, and everybody else was fired. The three people that were staying were Dolores [Catania], Teresa [Giudice], and Melissa [Gorga].” The caller added that Teresa was supposedly going to have her own spinoff.

Once again, Andy shut down casting rumors. “Bravo has said nothing. No one has any information. There is no information,” Andy stated. “I cannot stress this enough. Y’all are not going to hear anything for a while.”

He continued, “If you don’t see a source credited, if it says, ‘Inside sources say,’ or, ‘We heard that,’ then it’s not true. If it says, ‘Bravo has announced,’ or ‘Andy said on his radio,’ then it is true.” Andy added, “That’s what I will tell you. Don’t believe anything else.”

Real Housewives of New Jersey is streaming on Peacock.
