Craig Conover is a single man again, which isn’t typical for him on Southern Charm. He tends to be one of those Charleston men who always has a girlfriend, at least in the later seasons of the show. Before Summer House star Paige DeSorbo came into the picture, there was Naomie Olindo.
Craig and Naomie’s relationship was a mainstay in the early days of Southern Charm. They always seemed a bit mismatched, with Naomie wanting stability while Craig was chasing his dreams. Naomie was the original person who didn’t understand Craig’s sewing, so it really was another lifetime ago. Craig recently stopped by Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap podcast to reveal if he’d ever go back to dating Naomie now that he’s single again.
Craig Conover is moving forward
Despite his kind feelings for Naomie, Craig said the ship has sailed. “She’s a sweetheart and I wish her the best. The thing with me is once a chapter’s closed — well, I don’t like to make definitive statements — [but] I wish Naomie the best,” Craig explained. “I’m just moving forward in my life and meeting new people. That was Season 3, Season 4, I need to move on to the next season.” Seems fair enough, but it would be a shocking reconciliation.
Then, Craig went into what he is looking for in a woman. One aspect he admired about his relationship with Paige was their ability to travel well together, he said. “And I’m fortunate that I can be very spontaneous with my time. And I think it would be very fun to find someone to share that life with again,” he added. Despite being “optimistic” about entering the dating pool again, Craig isn’t overly obsessed with planning his future. Truly, it’s probably for the best.
