Lala Kent Defends Tom Sandoval Against Traitors Castmates: ‘Cannot Win’

It’s happening for Tom Sandoval. He is still roaming the Scottish castle in Season 3 of The Traitors. I think most Vanderpump Rules fans predicted that he would be sent home rather quickly. Instead, he managed to save a challenge by using his golden pipes to sing nursery rhymes backward. If it wasn’t for Tom, the group would have banked zero cash. Now Lala Kent is defending Tom and his antics on The Traitors.

Let’s face it. Tom has had some odd behavior on The Traitors. His wild gaze and epic pit stains captured the internet’s attention. Plus, Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause accused Tom of targeting her because she is friends with Tom’s ex-girlfriend, Ariana Madix. “He was telling everyone I was the Traitor. It felt like a personal attack,” Chrishell previously stated.

Well, Pump Rules alum Lala sounded off during her Amazon Live about The Traitors. And Lala is a fan. She almost joined Season 2 of the show, but the timing wasn’t right. During the nursery rhyme challenge, some of the contestants, like Britney Haynes, made fun of Tom’s vocal stylings in their confessionals.

“The whole challenge is to listen to these dolls that sing a nursery rhyme backward, and everyone in their confessionals … [is] making fun of him. Because let’s be honest, at this point in time, Tom Sandoval still cannot win,” Lala stated. “Like we all still remember what went down. He’s not a liked person no matter what comes out of his mouth. You can still draw the parallel to, ‘You’re that guy who cheated.’”

She continued, “And they’re clowning on him. But me as a viewer, I was like, well he’s doing the challenge.” Lala added, “And the only reason why they got all the money that they got was because he literally sat outside checking his pitch.” That is true. Tom saved the day in that challenge.

“It’s not like Tom Sandoval is, you know, John Legend by any means, but he did get the job done. I think they won like $20,000 from that challenge,” Lala stated.

The Traitors is streaming on Peacock with new episodes every Thursday.
