The Traitors Cast on Danielle Reyes’ Season 3 Gameplay: ‘I Was Kind of Disgusted’

Season 3 of The Traitors started with four Traitors. Big Brother star Danielle Reyes and Survivor stars Carolyn Wiger and Boston Rob Mariano were in the turret. Plus, RuPaul’s Drag Race legend Bob the Drag Queen also donned the cloak. Welp, Boston Rob ousted Bob at the Round Table, only to suffer the same fate days later.

During a recent episode of The Traitors, Danielle and Carolyn went head-to-head at the Round Table. Danielle was able to sway the Faithfuls into banishing Carolyn. Now the cast is weighing in on Danielle’s controversial gameplay.

Is Danielle Reyes’ gameplay on Season 3 of The Traitors too much?

Crishell Stause, who was murdered face-to-face by Danielle and Carolyn, wasn’t a fan of Danielle’s gameplay. “They cut out the fact that Danielle swore on her grandkids. This is going to come out at the reunion,” Chrishell previously said. “She knew it was going to be aired on the show and she said it multiple times while filming.”

Meanwhile, Summer House star Ciara Miller also wasn’t fond of Danielle swearing on her family. “I was kind of disgusted that she was a Traitor. I just didn’t respect her game-playing,” Ciara previously told US Weekly. “There were some off-camera swearing on kids, grandkids, or whatever, and I just didn’t feel like the stakes were that high.”

Of course, Carolyn was upset when she discovered that her murderous partner was floating her name. “You knew my name wouldn’t be out there, and so you had to throw me under. Don’t blame my quirkiness, my weirdness, or the way that I articulate myself,” Carolyn stated.

However, fellow Traitor Bob the Drag Queen gave Danielle her props. “Danielle is an absolute icon in the world of reality TV,” Bob stated. “I don’t think y’all reading at home know how much Danielle Reyes has changed the game of reality TV.”

Still, Boston Rob had yet another take on Danielle’s performance in The Traitors. “I don’t think [Danielle] is a bad person. I do think she made a lot of mistakes in the game,” Boston Rob told US Weekly. “Her acting was overdone. I picked up on it. It’s like, ‘What are you doing? What Faithful would ever lose the chance to get immunity?’”

Of course, Danielle had some thoughts about her breakfast room tears. I don’t think that she is going to snag any acting nominations soon. “I am a non-emotional person in my normal life to the point people think I’m heartless and cold. I’ve been told that. So I decided to cry,” she explained. “I thought I’d be more emotional. I would get emotional at stupid stuff. It’s so cringey.”

Well, it remains to be seen if Danielle can make it to the finale and that prize pot. Her behavior has made her sus to some Faithfuls, so she could be in trouble at the next Round Table.

The Traitors airs new episodes on Peacock every Thursday at 9/8c.
