Colin MacRae is living his best life off camera. The former Below Deck Sailing Yacht engineer has been dating Brittany Amodeo for two years. The sailing enthusiasts took their romance to the high seas, and are currently traveling around the world.
They’ve shared content about the amazing locations they’ve visited. But the former Bravolebrity was guarded about dishing about the relationship itself. Yet, he chose to share the second anniversary of his relationship with Brittany.
Colin was part of the show for three years. He generally seemed to avoid the drama onboard, save for the sloppy love triangle with Daisy Kelliher and Gary King. But that was his swan song, and the sailing enthusiast decided it was time to go and follow his dreams.
Colin MacRae teased “BIG plans” with girlfriend Brittany Amodeo
On February 19, Colin posted a video of himself and his lady love to Instagram. The couple were staying at an eco-resort in the Philippines, named Mango Tree Siargao, and wanted to share a tour with followers. It was in that post that Colin teased the milestone in his romance with the videographer, creative producer, and digital nomad.
“I’ve chosen to keep my relationship quiet online, for multiple reasons, but Valentine’s Day was two years with [Brittany Amodeo],” he wrote. “We live and work together literally 24/7 and have sailed to 18 different countries together from Panama.”
Colin continued, “We have no plans of slowing down, with our goal to finish this circumnavigation of the end of 2026 in the British Virgin Islands, then we have BIG plans after that. Thanks for ALWAYS being there for me babe. Love you lots.”
Brittany revealed the start of their world-wide journey in March 2024 with an Instagram post. She gushed about being “able to create videos” and travel the world as “a dream come true.”
She responded to Colin’s sweet anniversary message with a tribute of her own.
“Happy anniversary babe,” she wrote in the comments. “Here’s to many more years of travels, sharing waves, big belly laughs, and sailing through this beautiful life together. You inspire me to be the best version of myself, thank you for always supporting me and for showing me that anything is possible! I love you xx.”
