Dorit Kemsley and Sutton Stracke have been fighting like a couple of nap-deprived toddlers this season. But Sutton has had enough, as their feud takes a turn for the worse on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14.
As fans know, Dorit is separated from her husband PK Kemsley. She’s dealing with a lot at home, so she may be taking her frustrations out on her friends in inappropriate ways.
Sutton Stracke oddly taunts Dorit Kemsley with her wealth as some kind of defense
In an E! News exclusive clip, the group gathers for Jennifer Tilly’s Caviar and Kaftans luncheon.
As the ladies sit around the table, Sutton brings up Dorit’s jab about her drinking from the Fourth of July party in last week’s episode.
“I wasn’t going to let you perpetuate that myth,” Sutton confronts the mom of two. “You picked at me, and I’m sorry, you need to pick on somebody else whose wallet fits.”
Huh? Sutton’s comment makes everybody do the head tilt of confusion. My dog does that, too, when he doesn’t know what you’re talking about.
“You think you’re bigger than her?” asks Erika Jayne, trying to suss out Sutton’s meaning.
“I think my wallet is,” Sutton responds. Really? We all know Sutton’s ridiculously rich. Her ex took good care of her in their divorce. So because Dorit was mean to her, Sutton’s defense is, “Oh, yeah? But I have more money!” At times Sutton’s social awkwardness is glaringly apparent.
Dorit is already on a razor’s edge over her separation and probable divorce, so she’s not having any of it. She lets Sutton have it in a production confessional.
“And now we are seeing Sutton go where she’s most comfortable: As low as you can possibly go,” the Beverly Beach founder spits. “Just because she thinks that her ex-husband dropped a big pocketbook in her lap, it gives her license to be such a f*cking c*nt. The only thing that big wallet has bought you is a horse instead of a date.”
Ouch. Dorit didn’t have the nerve to say all of this to Sutton’s face, but her comments will surely come up for comment at the Season 14 Reunion. I’m predicting more fireworks than we saw at Dorit’s Fourth of July party.
Sutton makes it clear that she’s “tired of it”
Meanwhile, back at the luncheon, Sutton tells Dorit, “Stop picking on me. Pick on somebody else.”
Still confused, Erika asks, “What does the money have to do with it?”
“It doesn’t,” Sutton says. “I [just] want her to back off me.”
Then the Georgia Peach falls back on her tried and true method of getting her point across when she doesn’t have the words. She goes into her broken record act and just repeats over and over, “I’m tired of it.” Think Sutton’s “name ’em” moment from Season 13.
“Let me know when you’re done, Sutton,” Dorit sighs, turning her attention back to her lunch.
“So, here we go,” Sutton says in her own confessional. “I’m talking about your wallet size. Don’t f*ck with me. I don’t regret it, I won’t regret it. In fact, I’m proud I said it.”
Okay, Sutton. Be proud that your defense was your big bank account. I’m still confused.
