Madonna‘s latest “sin and seduction” photos prove she can transform into a temptress like no other. The singer-songwriter recently channeled femme fatale energy and graced the cover of CR Fashion Book’s Spring/Summer 2025 issue. Madonna stayed true to the theme and was all about drama in the new photoshoot that looked straight out of a thriller scene.
Madonna’s CR Fashion Book cover photos are so dramatic
Madonna’s stunning new photos showed her serving a top-notch dramatic look for CR Fashion Book’s Spring/Summer 2025 issue. The pop icon unveiled the cover feature on her Instagram and wrote in the post’s caption, “Kill or be killed… The industry taught me that.” CR’s new “cinematic universe” titled “Funeral Rites,” written by Madonna, stars the icon in the dramatic film-like shoot.
As detailed in the “Funeral Rites” draft shared by Madonna, the scene shows a “widow” arriving at a cemetery in a limousine. In the photo to depict the part, the singer wore a black bustier bodysuit underneath a long beige coat. Madonna’s “disheveled” look also included a pair of sheer black thigh-high stockings, slightly ripped on one leg, and suspenders.
Along with that, Madonna also wore black strappy heels and was seen carrying a bunch of red flowers in one hand. She rounded off the look with fishnet gloves, a pair of sunglasses, and dangly cross earrings. CR explained the theme in the caption, writing, “She doesn’t leave fingerprints—only trouble.” They added that “Funeral Rites” is a “noir thriller of sin, seduction, and secrets.”
Madonna continued to serve more intense looks for the cover feature of CR Fashion Book Issue 26. The singer posed while bringing her hands together and rocking several stacked bracelets. Besides that, Madonna also pulled off a retro look and wore her blonde hair down in a voluminous style.
In addition, CR Fashion Book has shared a series of more posts to tease Madonna’s feature. The shots are accompanied by small snippets from “Funeral Rites” by Madonna.
