Stop the presses! It turns out Marcus Jordan didn’t have cocaine on him when he got arrested earlier this month for DUI. It was ketamine! A different white powder, but still a little illegal.
When the cops arrested Marcus, they hit him with three charges: possession of cocaine, DUI with property damage, and resisting arrest. Now, they’ve updated the charges to reflect their new findings. Maybe Larsa Pippen got away from this dude just in the nick of time.
A different drug and a different charge

When the body cam footage of Marcus’s arrest first dropped, you could see the cops discover the baggie of white powder in his pocket. The former Real Housewives of Miami star told them all they would find was a “big d*ck and some big balls.” That wasn’t the case.
Marcus even tried to use the “I’m Michael Jordan’s son” excuse. None of it worked, and the cops did a field test on the powder. At the time, they claimed it tested positive for cocaine.
According to TMZ, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement did further testing on the powdery white substance. The results determined that it was ketamine. We’d love to know more about these “tests” that led them to this scientific conclusion.
Regardless of what they did to reach that determination, the cops have now updated the drug charge from possession of cocaine to possession of ketamine. The rest of his charges remain intact, but this could actually be a good thing for Marcus. The arrest happened in Florida, where ketamine is only considered a Schedule III drug whereas cocaine is a Schedule II.
With that said, Marcus is still in hot water here. The cops originally busted him after he drove his $300,000 Lamborghini onto some train tracks. He subsequently failed a field sobriety test, but Marcus entered a not-guilty plea. The outcome is still to be determined.
The Real Housewives of Miami is streaming on Peacock.
