Ariela “Ari” Weinberg is one of the cast members currently trying to save her marriage on 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2. Since she arrived at the resort, however, she’s been struggling to get on the same page as her husband Biniyam “Bini” Shibre. Biniyam and Ari originally met in Ethiopia but later moved to the United States with their son Avi. Since then, things have taken a complicated turn in their marriage. Many 90 Day Fiancé fans believe that Ari is the problem, but they should have more grace for her.

At the beginning of The Last Resort, Ari and Bini were one of the most troubled couples. They were the only pair to arrive separately and Bini tried to greet his wife with a handshake. Ari explained that she had proof of Bini cheating on her with another woman. She also indicated that their marriage had become so toxic in the months leading up to therapy, that she felt like she had to escape to Ethiopia with her son. Bini, on the other hand, only seemed to care about getting his social media passwords back from Ari.
As the retreat continued, Bini continued to keep Ari at arm’s length. He seemed to be only half present during therapy sessions and walked out when she confronted him about the cheating. Ari, on the other hand, tried to be proactive during the therapy and make the most of it.
Many 90 Day Fiancé fans feel like Ari is the problem in the relationship because she’s seen as controlling. While she can be difficult at times, nothing Ari has done warrants the way Bini has treated her. Viewers should be more sensitive to Ari’s situation and really look at the whole picture before judging her. No one’s perfect, but no one deserves to be cheated on or put to the side by their partner during a therapy retreat.
90 Day Fiancé viewers are sympathetic to other cast mates in similar situations as Ari
There are several other cast members on The Last Resort Season 2 in similar situations in Ari. Some of them have been cheated on by their partners and seem to have received more sympathy than Ari. For instance, Sophie Sierra was consoled by all of the women in the group after discovering Rob Warne on a dating app. Later on, Ari pointed out that while everyone was fast to call Rob out, no one had done this for Bini. This was an excellent point, as what Bini did was arguably worse than Rob.
It seemed unfair that Ari’s fellow cast members, especially the women weren’t sticking up for her more. The same seems to be the case with fans, who still seem to overwhelmingly take Bini’s side. While neither Ari nor Bini were perfect in their relationship, this is true of all the other couples as well.
Ari has worked hard on her marriage with Bini
While everyone in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise has put a lot of effort into their relationships, some do so more than others. Ari is among these individuals, as she really sacrificed a lot to make things work with Bini. After getting pregnant with Avi, Ari decided to give birth in Ethiopia so that Bini could be present. This was very kind on Ari’s part, as she expressed she’d feel more comfortable having a baby in the US.
Throughout her relationship with Bini, Ari has continued to compromise for him. While she was initially against Avi being baptized, she later agreed to it when she realized how important it was to him. Ari also helped Bini to kick start his career in the US and has worked hard as his manager. Not everyone works this hard or makes sacrifices for their partners, so Ari deserves some credit. It’s not fair for fans to be so critical of Ari, when she hasn’t made any more mistakes than most of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise.
