Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz may not have separated on the best of terms but time heals all wounds. And it looks like they are in a good place now. So good in fact, that Tom had nothing but nice things to say about Katie’s new man after finally meeting him for the first time.
The OG Vanderpump Rules couple finalized their divorce in 2022 after 12 years. There were many ups, downs, and arguments after the fact. Now though it looks like they’ve finally reached solid ground.
Tom Schwartz thinks Nick is so cool
Since they’ve been apart, Tom has been linked to other women. There were rumors about him and his friend Jo Wenberg and Katie Flood of Winter House. For her part, Katie Maloney revealed that she’s seeing Nick Martin the guitarist of Sleeping with Sirens.
Tom met Nick for the first time just recently. He shared his thoughts about Katie’s new boo with E! News.
“We still have joint custody of Gordo and Butters,” he shared. “And she dropped the dogs off yesterday. I met Nick and he’s so cool, so down to earth. And obviously a rock star” he gushed.
Then he added earnestly that he was happy for her. “Listen, I love seeing her happy,” he said. “If she’s happy, I’m happy.”
When asked what his first impression of Nick was, Tom answered, “He’s a stud! I mean, he’s a rock star. Listen, Katie’s always dated musicians,” he explained. “I was an anomaly. I was the odd man out. I think I was the only non-musician she dated, married twice.”
He finished by saying he had nothing but love and respect for Katie and he revealed that they were on great terms. He was thrilled to be able to say that there was no drama.
