Brandi Glanville continues to battle a “mysterious illness” that has left her physically and emotionally drained. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum revealed her ongoing symptoms that include facial swelling and scarring in December 2024. Botched star, Dr. Terry Dubrow, reached out to help her. And he recently gave an update on where they’re are at with the diagnosis.
Brandi feels that she has a “facial parasite.” Terry thinks it’s a “microorganism.” At the time that he reached out to the RHOBH alum, Terry suggested taking a tissue sample, now they are simply waiting on results.
Terry Dubrow praised Brandi Glanville for being “brave and tough”
“I can tell you something, Brandi has been significantly affected by whatever this mysterious illness is and I’m trying to help her,” Terry told Us Weekly. “We have some tests we’ve done that take a long time to figure out. In the next several weeks, we should have a better idea of what’s actually going on.”
Meanwhile, Terry revealed that Brandi has been “suffering” with the ongoing medical problems. The doctor described his patient as “brave and tough.” However, he thinks the public needs to back off a bit.
“People need to give her grace. She’s brave and tough and she’s going through a very difficult time,” Terry shared. “I tell her, because we text frequently, I see her ultimately, not too far away, hopefully on the other side of this.”
“I think once we get a diagnosis and we get a treatment plan, that we can get on the other side of it,” he stated.
Once he and Brandi met for a consultation in January, the celebrated plastic surgeon did four biopsies on Brandi and sent the samples out.
“Yes guys, @DrDubrow took 4 tiny biopsy’s [sic] from my face so we can continue to get better,” Brandi shared on X. “Ez pz no pain I was in and out on 30 minutes now we wait.”
