Jenna Lyons doesn’t have an opinion on people changing their appearance. In fact, The Real Housewives of New York star says that plastic surgery is a personal choice. And people shouldn’t judge a personal choice.
Jenna, in general, is mostly live and let live. She proved that when she said she had compassion for Brynn Whitfield after that disastrous season finale and subsequent stress-filled reunion. In general, it seems like Jenna tries to reserve judgment as much as possible.
Jenna Lyons believes people need to stop being so “goddamn judgmental”
The breakout star of the RHONY reboot told PEOPLE that there should be no room for judgment from others in such a “personal choice” as plastic surgery. She’s had her own experience with personal decisions about her life and body. But she opened up about them because it doesn’t matter what others think.
“We are all so goddamn judgmental,” she said. “Whatever works for you. I think people need to do what makes sense for them and what feels good for them. I think it’s a really personal choice.”
Jenna even admitted that she also “struggles a little bit” with her changing appearance as she grows older. Her opinions on cosmetic procedures are evolving and changing as she ages as well.
Initially, she was all on board for a cosmetic pick-me-up and shared that her initial reaction was “Sign me up!” But now, she shared that fillers “scare” her because she doesn’t want to lose the ability to be expressive.
So, for the time being, instead of injectables, Jenna relies on a well-oiled skincare routine. “I love putting on body oil. I love getting my gua sha out and laying in bed,” she said.
But she maintains that despite her own hesitations, people should do what makes them happy. She certainly isn’t afraid of being her fashionable self. So if people want a BBL or Botox, she thinks they should “Have at it!”
