For years, viewers of the Real Housewives of New Jersey have watched Dolores Catania’s son grow up before their eyes. Frankie Catania Jr. first made appearances in field day episodes and eventually worked his way to up being Gia Giudice’s date to prom. Eventually, Frankie went off to attend college at Sacred Heart University. But every so often, he would come back to the Garden State for a cameo. Now, the 26-year-old is ready to put some down roots and has proposed to his longtime girlfriend.

Wipe those tears girls, as news was just revealed that Frankie is no longer a single man. Well, in all fairness, he hasn’t been single for quite some time, but now his heart belongs to only one woman. In February, Frankie dropped down on bended knee to ask his longtime girlfriend, Nicole Perrichoto, to be his wife. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star popped the big question on the stairs of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. Frankie wore a black fitted suit while Nicole wore a white sweater dress.
Dolores was hiding in the wings as she watched her son confess his love. She wrote in an Instagram Story, “Me incognito waiting for the proposal.” Dolores shared a photo of herself wearing a long winter jacket, a face mask, and oversized sunglasses as she waited outside the church to capture the big moment. The couple have been dating since 2023. But have managed to keep a low profile amid their courtship. Nicole has not appeared on the Real Housewives of New Jersey either.

After Nicole said “yes” to her future husband, Dolo took to her Instagram to share a few photos. The first showed Frankie sliding the ring onto his fiance’s finger. Another snap showed the couple in a deep embrace, clearly taking in the moment. Nicole’s ring looks to be an oval-shaped diamond with at least two carats. The engagement ring was purchased from John Anthony Jewelers in Edgewater, NJ. The jeweler posted a photo of their creation, writing, “A moment for the stunning custom-made diamond engagement ring.” Along with the central gem, the band had been enveloped with smaller diamonds for that extra shine.
Dolores is excited to be the mother of the groom. She took to her social media to share with fans that she “Can’t find the words to depict how much joy we are all feeling since yesterday.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey star added, “My little Frankie, with a heart full of love and a lifetime of memories ahead of him, proposed to his amazing girlfriend Nicole, and we couldn’t be happier!! Here’s to forever, Frankie and Nicole!”
Who is Dolores Catania’s future daughter-in-law?
Nicole is a Monroe, NJ native and has always had a passion for helping people. According to her website, she received her bachelor’s from Chamberlain University in 2018. The school, which is based in Chicago, is known for its nursing program. Frankie’s future wife has ten years of experience under her belt when it comes to aesthetic medicine, which encompasses non-invasive procedures designed to improve her customer’s cosmetic appearance. Nicole now works as an Aesthetic Nurse Injector BSN RN at Lombardi Plastic Surgery in Eatontown, NJ.
She has worked her way up to a Senior Injector over the last seven years and gives “Naturally looking results. In addition to her injecting role at Lombardi’s, the warm and friendly nurse remains dedicated to her education through experience by assisting in various post-operation initiatives with Dr. Lombardi’s surgical patients.” Nicole is said to be a dog person, so I imagine she gets along with Gabby Catania exceptionally well. As fans know, Frankie’s sister is a lover of all animals and is a vet. According to her social media profile, Nicole also enjoys listening to hip-hop, rap, or rock during her appointments. When not working, “she delves into facial anatomy mastery at conferences, cherishes family time, and cares for her beloved animals.” Congrats to the couple!
