Craig Conover is a hot commodity these days. His three-year relationship with Paige DeSorbo ended over the holidays, so there is a lot of speculation as to who he will date next. The Bravolebrity got on a dating app, but proclaimed that he wants to meet someone organically. And there’s a lot of potential to date within the Southern Charm cast. Newbie Salley Carson has shared her interest in the Sewing Down South founder.
Neither reality TV stars were single when they previously filmed together. Craig’s relationship with Paige was still ongoing, albeit it on its last legs. And Salley was dating Andrew Deitz. But now that both those attachments ended, there is a possibility for the Southern Charm stars to go beyond friendship.
Salley Carson said the “door is open”
During an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Salley revealed that she would indeed be interested. However, the Southern Charm newbie is focusing on nurturing the friendship instead.
The costars were spotted having dinner together with a group of friends earlier this month. But Salley insisted that it was a platonic meal.
“It was not a date, we had other people there with us,” she said. “Me and Craig are good friends, and we’re becoming even closer friends now.” Salley added, “You know, I’m still getting to know him, so I can’t say if I would ever see him as [someone with] potential, but he’s hot as sh*t. So, the door is open.”
Salley reflected on potential compatibility with Craig, but she also has her eye on Austen Kroll. Though he is off the market.
Salley continued, “But, I do love Austen’s personality. Like, I think me and Austen’s personality are very much more in sync than me and Craig’s, but Austen has a girlfriend, and I love his girlfriend. Respectfully.”
Meanwhile, there is a mystery hook up in Salley’s life. As ever, there is the question of whether this partner will appear on the show, should their situationship last that long.
“I am, like, hanging out and hooking up with someone right now,” she said. “No, it is not anyone that y’all know. So, it’s super new and fresh.”
