According to ABC 7, she even explained her presence at the protest to them, declaring, “We’re here to make it known that we’re not OK with this.” The outlet noted that other protestors chanted, “Calabasas hear our cry, we won’t let our children die.”
The reality star called Calabasas “the most special place to live” in her lengthy note on Instagram. She further pointed out how they are disposing of the wildfire debris right “next to schools and parks, which could affect our children’s health and fertility and so much more.” Kardashian highlighted the city’s efforts at protecting its environment, wildlife, and residents by banning plastic items and its “no smoking rule.” She expressed shock about the government’s decision to dump “hazardous, dangerous and severely unhealthy materials in the heart of a healthy, thriving community.”
