Of all the people I expected to be fighting in Summer House Season 9, I never saw this coming. I didn’t have a feud between Paige DeSorbo and Kyle Cooke on my bingo card for 2025.
Kyle wants to be James Kennedy when he grows up, so he bought himself a full DJ kit and is performing at a venue in NYC. In Episode 3, everyone’s turned out to see him perform, when Paige pulls Ciara Miller aside. Paige received a text from Kyle and wants to get Ciara’s opinion.
Paige reads Kyle’s text aloud, “Honestly beyond discouraged. With Craig [Conover], too. This wouldn’t be a topic today if it wasn’t for him and about a dozen lies. I can’t believe this is where Hannah [Berner] is at three years later. I’m f*cking apesh*t.”
Paige DeSorbo thinks she doesn’t deserve to be “yelled at” for something she didn’t do
“This morning, I received a bit of rage texting from Kyle Cooke,” Paige explains in a confessional. Apparently, Kyle is mad at Craig for signing a deal to promote a competing drink company. He’s also angry with Hannah because, as Paige says, “she was on some podcast just being Hannah.”
Paige is more than a little annoyed that she’s getting “yelled at” for something she had nothing to do with. Kyle needs to reign in his temper.
“So that’s what happened to me today,” Paige said. “What about me gave [Kyle] the impression [he] could text me talking sh*t about my best friend and my boyfriend?” FYI, Season 9 was filmed months before Paige and Craig broke up in December 2024.
“Like, what the f*ck? You have both of their numbers,” the social media influencer went on. “Be an adult, and if you see something on the Internet that makes you upset, sit with it for a minute and then text the person that said it. Your trying to put me in the middle is absolutely insane.”
Paige’s rant reminds Ciara that she also has a bone to pick with Kyle. “The other thing that’s annoying to me is Kyle’s thinking that everyone has to have this allegiance to him,” the nurse/model says.
“Like, f*ck you,” Paige agrees. She’s been drinking Loverboy for “seven f*cking years” and attending all of his “dumbass f*cking events.”
“When have you ever supported a single thing I’ve done?” she asks. “The only reason I came here tonight was [to keep] his wife company while he pretends to be Diplo. Like, please.”

Back in the Hamptons on Friday afternoon, Paige tells Ciara that Kyle actually apologized for his rage texts at his DJ event. “He just goes, ‘Hey, sorry about all those texts earlier,'” she shrugs. “It was just, like, weird.” She didn’t feel it was the appropriate time to get into a conversation about it.
“Then a couple days ago, he does this whole Page Six exclusive about Hannah,” Paige continues. “And he lied through his f*cking teeth!” In the article, Kyle said he had “nothing to do” with Hannah’s firing from Summer House since he doesn’t have “that kind of pull.”
Paige adds that Kyle is “so lucky” he’s married to her BFF Amanda Batula. Their friendship is the only thing stopping her from getting into a full-on war with him.
“You’ve f*cked with my best friend,” Paige continues. “You’re f*cking with my boyfriend. You disrespect me, you think you can text me anything you want. F*ck you!”
It may be the middle of summer, but look out, Kyle. Winter is coming.
