She may be a newcomer to Southern Charm but Salley Carson is already spilling the tea. And she’s coming out guns blazing sharing why Austen Kroll didn’t sleep with Taylor Ann Green.
Looks like we’re not done hearing about Austen and Taylor’s indiscretion. And while their tryst didn’t quite hit Scandoval levels, it certainly shook things up during Season 9 of the reality TV series and broke up a couple of friendships on the way.
Salley shared that alcohol was partly the reason Austen and Taylor didn’t have sex
It’s been a hot second, but for those who forgot, rumors started to swirl that Austen hooked up with Taylor at the start of Season 9.
It was complicated because Austen dated Taylor’s best friend Olivia Flowers for six months. Taylor, on the other hand. dated his best friend Shep Rose. Oh, the twisted web we weave! In either case, Austen and Taylor initially denied the rumors but eventually admitted they kissed and danced together.
And now Salley is sharing the reason it never went further with Austen and Taylor. “I had a conversation with Austen in the Bahamas that was not filmed. And he just kind of told me that they definitely got handsy with each other,” Salley shared with US Weekly.
She added that Austen alluded that “More happened than a makeout but not sex.” Apparently he shared that the only reason they didn’t “go all the way” was because he was too drunk and his “equipment wasn’t working.”
Well, that’s got the be one of the first times alcohol stopped sex from happening as opposed to being the excuse for why it did.
The revelation also reveals that things between Austen and Taylor got way more heated than we may have known. Not that it matters at this point. Austen and Shep were able to repair their relationship, However, Olivia and Taylor didn’t reconcile. To date, all the parties involved have moved on.
Taylor is dating Gaston Rojas, Austen is dating Audrey Pratt, Shep had a rather messy fling with Sienna Evans, and Olivia is engaged to Alex Williams.
