It seems that Shep Rose’s ill-fated encounter with Sienna Evans caused him to take a major step backward in his relationship with alcohol. The Southern Charm star admitted to blacking out and sleeping on the beach during the most recent episode. His friends, Austen Kroll and Craig Conover, were unable to find him after the OG star was removed from a casino in Nassau.
Shep was spiraling during the entire trip after his perceived love, Sienna, avoided him at all costs and did not reciprocate his feelings. It culminated in a night of heavy drinking that Shep had been working to avoid in recent years.
Craig Conover suggested that Shep Rose’s decisions weren’t “healthy”
Craig recalled the night at the resort casino where Shep was “so drunk he couldn’t stand up.” He was then escorted out of the establishment. According to Craig, Shep was “nowhere to be found” later and did not have his phone on him.
“I sort of spiraled last night ’cause of the Sienna stuff,” Shep told him the next morning. “I woke up on a beach chair like, by a pool and was just like, okay, go home. Nothing bad happened.”
The Sewing Down South founder stressed, “Whatever this is isn’t healthy.” And suggested that Shep cut ties and not have “anything to do with” Sienna.
A resistant Shep was then put on the phone with Craig’s girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo, so he could get a female perspective. Paige said it would be clear if Sienna was into him.
Shep reflected on his “wild man” past
“If it’s already a little shaky, it only gets shakier,” Paige said of long-distance romances.
Earlier in the trip, the Southern Charm veteran sent Sienna a heartfelt, if not misguided, message proclaiming his love. Paige was briefed on the matter.
“So it’s literally on her,” Paige said. “And if she doesn’t give you the same energy back, then let her go!”
She added, “If they liked you, you would know it. She doesn’t like you. So you gotta let her go.”
Shep started to question his own self-worth as the day progressed. The cast spent the afternoon on a boat trip. But for the Bravolebrity, it was a time of reflection.
“I’m realizing that in the past, I was a wild man from hell and how much stress that put on my relationships,” Shep said in a confessional interview. “So, I’m feeling a bit inadequate because a lot of girls are seeking, you know, a stable life and I’m like Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, so I don’t know.”
