Season 3 of Deal or No Deal Island never disappoints. Just when you think you know where the game is headed, the Banker drops a new twist for the contestants.
Last time, Parvati chose La Shell Wooten to play against the Banker. She added $1,558,000 to the prize pot. However, La Shell made a bad deal and was eliminated. So, let’s jump into the Season 2, Episode 9 recap of Deal or No Deal Island, “Million Dollar Walk.”
Lete receives a friendship bracelet on Deal or No Deal Island Season 2
Dickson was pumped to be in the final six. He suggested to his island dad, David, that they get Lete out next. However, Dickson has a friendship bracelet for Lete, and he reassures David that he is still locked into their Family alliance.
Later, as Lete and Dickson strolled down the dock, Parvati and David were watching like two overprotective parents. Parvati was thrilled because she told Dickson how he could pull off this blindside with a friendship bracelet. He’s finally listening to his island mom!
It was sweet when Dickson slipped the friendship bracelet on Lete’s hand and then kissed it. The bracelet said, “DONDI babe, XOXO.” Plus, it had both of their initials. Aww!
While Parvati and David believe that Dickson was solid with them, that’s not what he told Lete. When Parvati considered putting him up to play the Banker, he lost trust in her. For Dickson, he is comfortable flipping either way if it punches his ticket to the final four. However, he also seems to have caught feelings for Lete.
A sinking feeling on Deal or No Deal Island Season 2

The next challenge was crazy. In this excursion, host and Games Master Joe Manganiello explained that the Banker was testing who could carry the weight of power “without sinking.”
There is a group of unmarked cases, all valued in the millions. Each contestant must walk across a narrow beam positioned above some quicksand while carrying a case. Guests have two minutes to get their case across to the other side. Of course, the heavier cases have a higher value.
Plus, players who don’t finish in time must choose a case with a low value. The player who has the highest value silver case wins safety and will decide who will face the Banker. Meanwhile, the two players who have the lowest value cases are in danger of facing the Banker. But they may not be alone. The heaviest cases are the two red cases. If a guest fails to carry a red case across in time, they will join the bottom two.
Since he was in the bottom last week, Dickson was up first. After he finishes the challenge, he will decide who goes next. He selected a red case but fell off the beam and was stuck in the muddy, sticky quicksand. He was unable to get free. Now he is in danger of facing the Banker.
Even though Lete was making heart symbols with her hands, Dickson picked David to go next. And his new island girlfriend was not happy. Of course, David picked the heaviest case. After he made a splash in the quicksand, he army-crawled his case across. He selected Parvati to go next. She picked a red case and somehow managed to push the case across the quicksand. I can’t believe this is the ninth time that she has won safety at The Temple.
CK was up next, and she had a hard fall, did a flip, and landed on her face. Ouch! Thankfully she was fine, and she pushed her case across in time. Finally, Lete went next, followed by Phillip.
Lete and Phillip bash Dickson’s decision on Deal or No Deal Island

The guests with the two lowest-value silver cases were at risk of facing the Banker. When they opened their cases, David had the highest case value of $2.5 million, followed by CK. So, CK doesn’t have to play the Banker, but she can still be sent home. Meanwhile, Lete and Phillip had the lowest value cases and were at the bottom with Dickson.
Back at camp, Lete was disappointed that Dickson didn’t choose her. Also, Dickson had previously claimed that he wanted to get Parvati out of the game. This operation was dubbed “Mission P.” Both Phillip and Lete bashed his poor gameplay because ultimately, he helped make Parvati safe.
Afterward, the trio talked to David, and Phillip shared that he wasn’t in a good place to play the Banker. So, David told him that he didn’t have to play at Temple. However, neither Lete nor Dickson wanted to play the Banker, so that put David in a tricky spot. Then David made a comment to Lete about how she put him up to face the Banker.
Now Lete believed that David was putting her in at The Temple. According to Lete, that put a target on Dickson. So, Dickson said he would play the Banker instead if Lete was going to send him home. However, Lete was mad at David, so she planned to take out a member of the Family. And the only one who wasn’t safe was Dickson.
Before heading to The Temple, Lete asked David again if he was putting her up. He asked who she would send home. Naturally, she said Dickson, even though David floated CK as a better choice.
Who will face the Banker in The Temple?

Alexis Lete faces off against the Banker in Deal or No Deal Island Season 2, Episode 9.
During The Temple, Joe mentioned how Parvati and David “have a connection.” Awkward! Then Lete and Dickson shared how he asked her to be his island girlfriend. But Dickson knows he is on thin ice with Lete.
When David was deciding, Dickson offered to play the Banker again. However, when David picked Lete to play, she told Dickson, “You’re going home if I win.” Then Lete told Joe that she was “a woman of her word.”
For her case, Lete chose number two. During the first round, the Banker offered $273,000, which Lete swiftly declined.
After the second round, Lete had two low values on the board and two high values. The Banker’s next offer was $599,000. Lete gave an enthusiastic thumbs down to that offer and moved on to the next round. Unfortunately, she knocked off the $2.5 million, which was the highest case.
So, the Banker offered $550,000, and Lete took the deal. If Lete’s case was worth less than the Banker’s offer, then she made a good deal, and will stay.
Who was eliminated in Deal or No Deal Island, Season 2, Episode 9?

Dickson Wong was the ninth player eliminated in Deal or No Deal Island Season 2.
After Lete made a good deal, she told Dickson that he was still the one going home. Then Dickson addressed his fellow guests. “Love all you guys. It’s a pleasure meeting everyone,” Dickson said. He also told Lete that she was “still my island babe.” In a sweet moment, Lete and Dickson embraced.
Before he exited, David and Dickson shared a tender moment. “You’re like the dad I wish I had still,” Dickson told David as they embraced. “Thought it was the right thing to do,” David said. “I’m sorry, man.”
In his final confessional, Dickson said, “I am very sad to be leaving the island, but I’m very happy that I made it to sixth place. It was super cool getting to meet David.” He added, “And being able to play with one of Survivor’s best, Parvati. It’s just an amazing experience overall.”
Well, the final case now stands at $9,732,000. But just as the final five were heading back to camp, the Banker called. The next day’s excursion will lead to a double elimination. That means only three people will make it to the finale.
Deal or No Deal Island continues on Tuesdays at 9/8c on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock.
