After watching Tom Sandoval compete on Peacock’s monster hit The Traitors, could Lisa Vanderpump’s be next?
Lisa is a power figure in reality TV thanks to her Executive Producer role on shows such as Vanderpump Rules, Vanderpump Villa, and The Valley. But is the Queen of Diamonds ruthless enough to endure the competition on The Traitors?
Lisa Vanderpump is way too busy producing her multiple TV shows and opening restaurants
Sandoval made it all the way to seventh place on The Traitors. Spoiler alert! I haven’t watched it yet. We were waiting for all the episodes to drop, so we can binge it.
Pride Today’s Ricky Cornish caught up to Lisa on the red carpet and asked if she’d been watching Tom on the murder mystery competition.
“Why is everybody asking me that?” she responded. “I didn’t think he had to go on that show to prove he was a traitor! He did a great job last year, didn’t he? Or was it the year before? … He’s a naughty boy, but as long as he’s having fun. He went through a very dark period of his life, so I’m glad he’s having a good time.” Lisa always defends her “boys,” whether they’re right or wrong.
When Ricky asked if she would ever compete on the show, Lisa admitted, “People have talked about it, but I’m actually too busy. I have a couple of shows already! I was on three shows last year, and I opened two restaurants.”
“I’m busy, for sure,” she added. Amid all her businesses and reality shows, Lisa is currently immersed in the reboot of Pump Rules, which will feature an all-new cast of people who still work for her.
Lisa pointed out that one of the “most entertaining” things about VPR was that “it was unpredictable.”
“It’s always based on authenticity,” she said. “It has to be about relationships that form naturally … This is how people get it right … and sometimes, get it so very wrong.”
Vanderpump Rules is now streaming on Peacock.
