Dua Lipa looked like a summer dream in her recent Instagram video, where she donned a monokini to showcase YSL Beauty’s newest perfume, Libre L’eau Nue Parfum de Peau. In the clip, she flawlessly dove into the sea, looking like a beach goddess in the summery, minimalistic advertisement.
Dua Lipa is summer-ready in YSL’s perfume video
On March 4, Dua Lipa took to Instagram to share her latest advertisement for YSL Beauty, featuring their new perfume in the video. She described the fragrance as the “scent of a summer day,” with the singer taking a dip in the sea to reflect the same. The beauty brand had teased the summery ad the previous day, sharing images and short clips from the shoot.
Lipa donned a chic black monokini that was completely backless. Moreover, it was strapless and came with stylish side cutouts. The swimsuit was very fashionable and perfectly complemented her red-toned hair. The pop star has now dyed her hair black again, so she likely shot the advertisement before October.
She accessorized the look with gold jewelry, opting for large hoop earrings and bangle bracelets. Her bling matched the gold accents of the Libre L’eau Nue Parfum de Peau bottle. Dua Lipa noted that the perfume is YSL Beauty’s first-ever alcohol-free scent. In addition, one can apply it to both skin and hair.
Libre L’eau Nue comes with refreshing citric notes from green mandarin and bergamot. It also has a hint of floral fragrance thanks to orange blossom and lavender, which are exclusive notes of the Libre line of perfumes. According to the brand’s website, the scent captures the “lasting summer freedom.”
Notably, the parfum de peau has skin-enhancing properties. The fragrance will lend a beautiful glow whenever one applies it, leaving the skin better than before with each application. The 3-ounce bottle retails for $145, with the 1.6-ounce and 0.33-ounce bottles being available for $110 and $36, respectively.
