The women of the Real Housewives of Atlanta know how to have a good time. And they kept the tradition alive when Kandi Burruss planned a bachelorette party to remember for Cynthia Bailey. The women went for what they thought would be a tranquil and relaxing getaway in the Isle of Palms, South Carolina. However, what was supposed to be a classy affair quickly turned into a night in Kandi’s dungeon with Bolo the Stripper. Let’s take a walk down memory lane, shall we?
What happened with Bolo the Stripper on RHOA Season 13?
As the ladies returned from dinner, Kandi left the bride-to-be outside to show her the man, aka Bolo, in a cage, grinding the air in a questionable Chanel outfit. It was 50 Shades of Wrong for many as viewers cringed at what was to come. Kandi famously noted, “You can look but don’t touch.” The man danced his way into the peach’s hearts and had to have his member blocked out at times. Cynthia noted, “It was so crazy. Even in his pants.”
The girls were all having fun, drinking, and throwing money. While the women questioned if it was even “real,” the stripper earned his money. Bolo did everything, all while wearing a COVID-19 mask. Even some weird tongue action started happening. After Bolo’s dance, he was supposed to leave, but some of the girls “wanted a real private show” and asked that the cameras be turned off. It was then rumors started that Porsha Williams and LaToya Ali allegedly became … involved. But according to Kenya Moore “It was just another Thursday to me.” After the party the women thought the Bravo cameras were down. But nothing is ever truly hidden from the cameras.
Who slept with Bolo on RHOA?
Cameras caught the women asking Porsha if she was bisexual, to which she replied, “Tonight, I guess. One of you b*tches is eating me tonight.” Then Bolo’s voice could be heard telling her “As long as I have a face you always have somewhere to sit.” Then a sexy smack was heard on the Bravo audio. As the night went on, Porsha was again caught on camera asking, “Where is Bolo and his thang?” Now this is when things got messy. The next morning, Kenya awakens and claims she heard Porsha having sex with Bolo. But P denied the gossip. So, who slept with Bolo?
Well if you ask most fans, many would agree that it was probably Porsha. It didn’t help that at the following dinner, Tanya Sam shared she was in Porsha’s room all night which confirmed Kenya’s suspicions. There was a theory that LaToya would also have been down if she hadn’t started to throw up. To add fuel to the conspiracy fire, Tanya stopped appearing on the Real Housewives of Atlanta shortly after.
Did we ever get the truth about Bolo the stripper on Real Housewives of Atlanta?
In 2021, Bolo the Stripper appeared on Watch What Happens Live After Show to set the record straight. Bolo revealed he had been working in the industry for 12 years. “Yeah, I’ve been doing it for a while, so the new spark is almost giving me the extra push again in my career,” he said. “I’ve been doing it for a long time, so you’ve still got to be Michael when you go home. So, it takes its toll on you after a while.” The star of the show didn’t really mention the night in question. He added, “I do a little bit of everything. Like I said, I’m Bolo two days a week.” He said, “I like to keep my hands in a little bit of everything, as far as business ventures and stuff like that.”
As for Bolo, he’s never watched the episode sharing, “I hear about it afterwards. As far as watching the show, no, I didn’t watch it. I was there. What the hell I need to watch it for?” No star on the Real Housewives of Atlanta has ever admitted to having a fling with the stripper. As Kenya noted at the time, “There’s not enough holy water or sage in the world to erase what went down in this house. Someone screwed the stripper. It wasn’t me, but I’m going to find out who did.” And maybe one day, Bravo viewers will find out the truth. But for now, it is one of the biggest Bravo mysteries.
