Gabby Windey is thriving after her split from Erich Schwer. Following Gabby and Erich’s broken engagement, Gabby moved on to her next partner, Robby Hoffman. As these two lovers recently revealed, Gabby and Robby are now married.

Right after Gabby revealed this life-changing, happy announcement, we jumped online to learn everything we could about Robby. When we gleaned that Robby is a writer and a comedian, we smiled, wistfully wishing to turn into a fly on one of their walls.

But what happened between Gabby and Erich? And who is Gabby’s partner, Robby? Likewise, when did their secretive wedding take place? Here is everything we know.

Before marrying Robby Hoffman, Gabby Windey and Erich Schwer from The Bachelorette were engaged

New lovers of Gabby quickly gathered following her stint on Season 3 of The Traitors. However, longtime loyalists have known Gabby since her first appearance on The Bachelor in Season 26. Gabby was the runner-up this season, but she placed first in the minds of her producers, as expected. Therefore, they brought Gabby for another run.

When Gabby starred next as a joint bachelorette via Season 19 of The Bachelorette, the balls were in her court. At the end of her season, Gabby and Erich Schwer ran off into the sunset, happily engaged, but only for two months.

As an unidentified source explained to E! News, Gabby chose to end their engagement. Allegedly, Gabby and Erich were not on the same page. Gabby hoped that time and space might heal their issues, but her logic failed. Erich then quickly moved on.

Speculation started growing about their split as Gabby danced her heart out on her next gig, Dancing with the Stars. Fans noted that Gabby was no longer wearing her engagement ring. These fans clocked the situation well, causing Gabby and Erich, who reportedly dumped his girlfriend and joined her season only to bolster his career, to admit their split.

Gabby Windey moved on with Robby Hoffman, and they got married

In August 2023, Gabby revealed she was dating Robby, a Brooklyn-born stand-up comedian and writer. Laughing that she is officially a “girl’s girl,” Gabby and Robby appeared very loved up via her shared images. Then, when she appeared on Season 3 of The Traitors, Gabby gave us another explanation about her new pairing with Robby, laughing, “I’m a lesbian now.”

When the LA Wildfires grew too close to comfort at the start of 2025, Gabby and Robby had no choice but to flee their state. As Gabby explained to Cosmopolitan, ashes were entering their home, so Gabby defaulted to Robby about what they should do next. Gabby packed up her podcasting gear as Robby gathered their cat and keepsakes. It took Gabby and Robby an hour and a half to load their car while the winds whipped around their vehicle, knocking down their fence and their spirits in one fell swoop.

As they drove away from their burning city, they settled on their final destination, Vegas. Gabby got on the phone, snagging them a sweet penthouse in a hotel near the strip. Once settled, “Gabby floated getting married,” Robby explained. Having wanted Gabby as her bride since their first month of dating in 2023, Robby happily said yes.

But first, Gabby walked things back, letting Robby know she desired a classic proposal. So, Robby “had a friend make a crossword. I gave him the clues and the answers, and I said it had to say, “WILL YOU MARRY ME, GABBY.”

Gabby and Robby celebrated their day-long engagement at the Wynn buffet. Then, they tied the knot. “Husband and wife!! 1/11/2025,” Gabby penned, posting a slew of images and reels of their happy, simple, perfect wedding day.

Thankfully, their home in LA remained intact.

Gabby and Robby are now officially married, so who is Robby? First, Robby’s pronouns are she/her, although Gabby lovingly refers to her partner as her husband online. Robby’s net worth is $1 million, states Chemical City Paper, which she earns from comedy, hosting, and writing gigs. Robby recorded her first one-hour comedy special, I’m Nervous, at a comedy festival in Toronto in 2019, the same year she won a Daytime Emmy Award for her work as a writer on the PBS series Odd Squad.

Robby has also written for other series, including Workin’ Moms, the Baroness Von Sketch Show, and The Chris Gethard Show. She also hosted Robby Hoffman Consulting Group (formerly Dykevice), a live call-in advice show on the comedy network Planet Scum Live. If you want to see Robby Live, tickets for her stand-up comedy show are available here.

But if you hate non-stretchy pants, you can stay home and still show Robby your love by streaming her Netflix special, Verified Stand-Up. You can also stream episodes of her podcast, Too Far with Rachel Kaly and Robby Hoffman, although this project has been on a hiatus since August 2024.

But wait, there’s more. Just like Gabby, Robby’s star is rising. She just signed on to star in Season 4 of Hacks, which debuts on Max later this year.

Long live Gabby and Robby. Congratulations, you two!
