Ciara Miller and West Wilson did not have an easy reunion on Summer House Season 9. After West broke Ciara’s heart last year, Ciara wasn’t feeling particularly friendly toward him. To make matters worse, West went to gush about their dynamic in the press, which rubbed Ciara the wrong way. It’s no surprise West kicked off the summer by tip-toeing his way around the house.
Ciara let her feelings be known during the first weekend in the Hamptons on Season 9 for West and everyone to understand. Since then, she and West haven’t interacted much in the house at all. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ciara gave Summer House fans a current update on where she stands with West these days. Spoiler alert: she’s moved beyond the rage phase, but they’re not buddy-buddy like they used to be.

In the interview, Ciara admitted that she believed West understands her frustration about the press interviews after their breakup last summer. Since that issue has been put to bed, they’re moving on, distantly. “I think we coexist. We can coexist in a house together like we did all summer,” she said of where they stand today. “He’s definitely not my closest friend and probably won’t be.”
Then, Ciara admitted she thinks that West is in the process of learning from his mistakes with her. “He’s paid his dues, I think everyone can leave him alone online,” she added. While Ciara admitted to loving when men are afraid of her, it’s clear she no longer considers West to be Public Enemy No. 1. Now that’s growth.
