The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s most affable ex-husband is once again a married man. Dolores Catania’s ex, Frank Catania, secretly tied the knot with his fiancée Brittany Mattesich “back in November (2024).”
“We are married,” Frank proudly announced on the March 6 episode of the On Display With Melissa Gorga podcast.
They’re still planning a second ceremony later this year, which hopefully will include more of their friends and family. “I can’t put Brittany through [a destination wedding] again,” Frank added. “We don’t have a date [yet], but we’re doing it up here [in Jersey].”

Frank and Brittany have been engaged since he first proposed to his then-girlfriend in October 2023.
“We’re Engaged!!!!,” Brittany wrote in an emoji-laden Instagram. “I’m so excited to start this next chapter … Thank you for being you & making me the happiest girl in the world. I wouldn’t want to do this life with anyone else other than @frank.catania.sr. Love you so much my fiancé.”
“I’m so excited,” Dolores told Us Weekly at the time of her ex’s engagement. “Frank’s a part of the family … He’s happy, she’s excited, and I just wish them the best.”
Not only was Dolores invited to Brittany’s bridal shower, but she also promised that she and her boyfriend Paul Connell would “definitely” attend Frank and Brittany’s wedding.
Married from 1994 to 1998, Frank and Dolores share two grown children: Gabrielle and Frankie Jr. Gabby is a licensed veterinarian, while Frank Jr. has dabbled in asset management, real estate, acting, and modeling. Frankie recently got engaged to his girlfriend Nicole Perricho.
Dolores and Paulie have been together since 2021. Paulie only recently finalized his divorce, even though he and his ex-wife separated years ago.
Even though Frank predicts Paul will propose in 2025, Dolores says she’s in no rush. She’s happy just the way things are.
Though Melissa had hopes of a “triple wedding,” Frank quickly dashed her dreams. He thinks Frankie and Nicole are looking at dates in 2026.
