The Real Housewives of Orange County is currently filming Season 19. Tamra Judge has been a star of the show (off and on) since Season 3.
Per photos shared over the weekend on social media, production is currently in New Orleans for a cast trip. And as we all know, Gretchen Rossi has returned this season in the role of “Friend” of the cast. Fans are well-versed in the long-running feud between Tamra and Gretchen.
The night of March 9, Tamra shared a cryptic message on her Instagram Story indicating that she was done with RHOC. Executive producer Andy Cohen has something to say about Tamra’s sudden and dramatic “Peace Out.” Keep reading to learn what he thinks about Tamra’s tiny temper tantrum.

Typed in all caps on a fuchsia background, Tamra shared, “It was a long run! When life gives you real problems, this reality sh*t doesn’t make sense. Peace out [peace sign emoji] I’m out.”
Seems like Tammy Sue was having a very bad day in the Big Easy. But is she really on a plane back to Orange County? And is she really turning in her orange?
This morning on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Andy asked that we all give Tamra a little grace. In addition to dealing with her nemesis, Gretchen, Tamra is going through a really hard time.
“I got the report of what happened last night,” Andy said. “All I will say is this. I can’t comment on what’s going on, you know, while we’re filming shows. I guess the only thing that – the thing that is at the top of my mind is that one of her best friends, if not her best friend, is going through … an incredibly intense health crisis. So maybe keep that in mind.”
“Otherwise, I really don’t have anything to say on the subject,” Andy concluded.

Of course, Andy’s referring to former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Teddi Mellencamp. Teddi is not only Tamra’s close friend but also her podcast partner on Two Ts in a Pod.
As we all know, Teddi is currently fighting the battle of her life with cancer. In October 2022, the wellness coach was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma (skin cancer). Since then she’s been through more than 20 surgeries. In February 2025, Teddi underwent brain surgery to remove several tumors, following weeks of “severe and debilitating headaches.”
On March 7, Teddi announced that her cancer had now metastasized to her lungs. Medical screenings revealed at least two more tumors found in her lungs.
Teddi’s in the trenches, and her BFF Tammy Sue is right next to her. Neither of them has any energy to spare for petty Housewife bullsh*t.
I understand where she’s coming from. Her castmates need to offer her love and support right now, while she faces this beast with Teddi.
In February, after learning that Teddi’s cancer had spread, Tamra shared on their podcast, “I just don’t even know what I would do without her.”
