The latest season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is giving us an in-depth look at Kyle Richards’ separation. The latest episode and After Show shared insight on whether Kathy Hilton and Mauricio Umansky are keeping in touch after his girlfriend drama. The answer isn’t surprising.
Kathy confirmed that she does still keep in touch with Mau. After all, he was a part of their lives for so long and she still cares about him despite any previous shade she may have thrown. In fact, Kyle shared that Kathy is sad about the split and while she’s supportive she’s also dismayed it came to this.
Kathy Hilton had a lot to say about Mauricio Umansky and his supposed “girlfriend” on RHOBH
“I still care about him. He is my nieces’ father. He’s been wonderful with Farrah,” Kathy shared on the RHOBH After Show. “Him and Kyle were a great couple and we used to have so much fun. It’s sad,” she added. That’s understandable. After 27 years of marriage, it’s no surprise Kathy feels close to Mau.
“I’ve called to check on him on their anniversary,” Kathy shared. “He was on a trip, a holiday. I called and he said, ‘Is everything okay?’ and I replied, ‘I was just calling to see how you are doing?’”
She shared that she is supportive of her sister but knows that the split has been hard on Mau too. Just maybe not in the same way as for Kyle, hence the many “Mauricio Umansky dating rumors” that flooded the paparazzi.
As for his “supposed girlfriend” and kissing photos in Mykonos, Kathy supported Kyle in that difficult moment but shared that she thought Kyle made the wrong move in removing “wife” from her Instagram bio after the photos leaked. “I probably personally would not have taken wife off because that would show my cards,” she explained.
She added, “I would not want him to know that I’m really thinking about (him). I’m just so busy,” she said. “That’s why I don’t unfollow people if you have a disagreement. Because why give them that attention?”
Looks like Kathy prefers to keep her cards close to her chest. And while she still cares about Mau, she also wants Kyle to be happy — and appear nonchalant too. You know, normal separation things.
