The Real Housewives of New Jersey last graced our screens in August 2024. The reunion aired with the suggestion already that the cast could not move forward for RHONJ Season 15 in the situation that they were in. Veteran cast members Teresa Giudice and Dolores Catania gave a joint interview during which they shared very different feelings about the hiatus.
Dolores is a fan favorite. And she functioned as a peace-maker in Season 14. Teresa is, of course, the original star of the show. Together, they offered some insight into their feelings about the future of RHONJ.

Teresa told Us Weekly that while it’s been “weird” not working, the downtime has been “relaxing.”
“Drama-free,” she said about the time off.
“At least you’re running on the adrenaline of what you have to do and what’s expected of you,” Dolores added. “And then all of a sudden it’s like, ‘Wait, it’s been a while now since I’ve done that.’ And then it’s, like, you go through a little thing — almost like a breakup.”
She continued, “I feel like a relationship breakup. You take a little break and then you’re like, okay, I want to start going again.”
In February, Us Weekly reported from an insider that the stars “have been in contact with production,” but there is no confirmation of any decision.
Teresa reacted to the news by saying she’s “always hopeful” for good news. Though, the original RHONJ star acknowledged how “toxic, toxic, toxic,” the atmosphere was at the end of Season 14.
“We’re workers,” Dolores said. “I liked it. It’s, like, a part of you. It doesn’t define you — not us anyway — but it is a part of our lives that is missed.”
Dolores is feeling the absence of the show like “a death.” It’s a mix of emotions, and the Bravolebrity revealed that she is going “through all different things.”
Teresa said, “Obviously Bravo took a break for a reason.”
Indeed, it got so bad that the cast couldn’t even film the reunion together. And the finale wasn’t delicate either.
“So I’m sure they’re going to, if it comes back, I’m sure there will be changes,” she concluded.
