The Real Housewives of Orange County are currently filming Season 19. This week they’re on a cast trip to New Orleans, where a reported shouting match between Tamra Judge and her arch-nemesis Gretchen Rossi blew up.
Photos of an intense conversation between Tamra, Gretchen, and Shannon Beador were leaked to the press. Not long after the photos appeared, Tamra angrily posted on her Instagram Stories that she was done with RHOC.
Is Tamra quitting the show? Can Mrs. Eddie Judge really walk away from the glamour and prestige (not to mention the paycheck)? What’s going on with Tamra?

“Tamra quit in the middle of the New Orleans trip with the girls,” a member of production told The U.S. Sun. “It was just after filming an emotional scene that turned into a heated discussion and then a shouting match with Gretchen and Shannon.”
“Ultimately, Tamra can dish it but she can’t take it, which longtime viewers well know,” the source added. “She’s overreacting and throwing a tantrum like a child because she isn’t getting her way.”
The crew member claimed that Tamra was just “seeking attention and it looks like she’s gotten it.”
“She said she’s done for good but if the money is right, she will be back,” the insider concluded.
We all know there’s no love lost between Tamra and Gretchen. The animosity goes all the way back to RHOC Season 4 in 2008. Tamra tried to get Gretchen “naked wasted” during a dinner party at her home. At the time, Gretchen was engaged to a much older man, Jeff Beitzel, who later passed away.
Last season a fan asked Gretchen how she felt about Tammy Sue, and she didn’t hold back. “In my opinion, she is evil, manipulative, and conniving,” the real estate agent said. “I saw exactly who she was back then and was never afraid to call her out.
“I believe the only thing she has ever been loyal to is her paycheck. She will destroy your character, your livelihood, your businesses, etc., under the guise of claiming she is just a ‘truth teller.’ It’s gross and not okay.”
Now Gretchen’s returned to torment Tamra. Looks like it didn’t take her very long to get under Tammy Sue’s skin.

When Tamra texted her “Peace Out” message on March 9, fans were immediately concerned and confused.
But Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen had a different take on Tamra’s meltdown. On the March 10 episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, he asked viewers to have a little compassion for what Tamra’s going through right now.
“The thing that is at the top of my mind is that one of her best friends, if not her best friend, is going through … an incredibly intense health crisis,” Andy pointed out. “So maybe keep that in mind.”
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp, Tamra’s Two Ts in a Pod partner and BFF, is currently fighting cancer. Since her October 2022 diagnosis with stage 2 melanoma (skin cancer), Teddi’s undergone 20+ surgeries. After recently announcing that the cancer had spread to her brain, she went through brain surgery. On March 7, Teddi revealed that her cancer had now metastasized to her lungs. Medical screenings revealed at least two more tumors in her lungs.
Calling Teddi the “little sister I never had and the best friend anyone could ask for,” Tamra said in February, “I just don’t even know what I would do without her.”
