Elon Musk’s transgender daughter Vivian Wilson called out her parents for allegedly using sex-selective IVF for their kids. On Tuesday, Wilson, Musk and his first wife Justine Musk’s daughter, wrote on Threads that the former couple “bought” and “paid for” her assigned sex at birth like a “commodity.” The 20-year-old, who also has a twin brother, is among her dad’s 12 children and came out as trans in 2022 after she filed a request for the court’s approval in California to change her name.

Taking to Threads, Elon Musk’s trans daughter, Vivian Wilson, slammed her billionaire dad for allegedly buying her assigned sex at birth. Wilson, who was born to Musk and Canadian author Justine Musk, accused the Tesla CEO of using sex-selective IVF for male heirs. Making a candid statement on the social media platform, she alleged that her “assigned sex at birth was a commodity” her parents “bought.”
Wilson then continued to explain in the post how she went “against the product” her dad bought when she was “feminine as a child and then turned out to be transgender.” She publicly came out as trans in 2022 after filing for a California court’s approval to change her first name as well as to take her mom Justine Wilson’s last name. Justine and Musk, who share the twins, had remained married until 2008, when they parted ways and shared the custody of their two kids.
Further in her post, Elon Musk’s trans daughter called this “expectation of masculinity,” which she had to “rebel against” her whole life a “monetary transaction,” highlighting it multiple times in the context. Then, in a follow-up post, she wrote, “How the f— is this legal.” The recent comments came several months after the SpaceX founder’s controversial comments surrounding his daughter in July 2024.
NBC News stated that Musk said Wilson was “not a girl” in a social media post and online interview. He further accused his daughter of tricking him into allowing her to undergo gender-affirming treatment at 16. Nevertheless, Wilson refuted his claims, claiming she hadn’t “tricked” him.
