Barack Obama’s lack of punctuality gets on wife Michelle’s nerves

Michelle Obama offered an insight into her husband Barack Obama’s pet peeve that gets on her nerves. During the premiere episode of her podcast “IMO” with her brother Craig Robinson, the former first lady dished on her partner’s lack of punctuality. The brother-sister duo discussed how their parents kept them uptight about maintaining time when Michelle revealed that her hubby didn’t follow that pattern.

While speaking to Robinson, Michelle said that the former president had to adjust to the concept of punctuality. Referring to his brother-in-law’s Hawaiian birthplace, Robinson revealed that Barack was on “island time.” To substantiate her statement, Michelle gave an example. She confessed that her husband would do things that would make them late, like going to the bathroom or looking for glasses only when it’s time to leave.

However, Michelle clarified that she is now more at ease concerning her husband’s lack of punctuality. She said, “But he’s improved over 30 years of marriage. But that was — a ‘you must adjust.'” Meanwhile, the former first lady revealed that the couple’s daughters, Malia and Sasha, have perfected the knack of punctuality. She said, “They’ve learned how to snap to it.”

Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson also touched upon many interesting topics in their podcast’s premiere episode. She also recalled how Robinson supported her throughout the couple’s time at the White House.
