Parenting is a mixed bag of nuts. Kids are messy and brutally honest. But sometimes, they are just like us, which likely has our parents yelling KARMA into the void whenever they depart from our front doors. But Andy Cohen is yelling nothing. Instead, he is leaning into the comedic antics of his two children, Benjamin Cohen, 6, and Lucy Cohen, 2.

Andy had Ben and Lucy via surrogates. Andy now lives amongst the noise, sarcasm, and hot takes of his minis, who speak candidly, like their father. Luckily for us in similar life stages, Andy often posts his reactions to their antics, making us all feel seen.

Now, all of his clips are either adorable or hysterical. But these are our favorites thus far.

Andy Cohen receives feedback from Ben Cohen, who finds his eggs “too soft”

Poor Ben. He woke up last November and tried to choose eggs, but his famous father failed to nail his desired textures. So, his school-aged mini-me chose passive-aggressive verbal violence instead.

At the start of this shared reel, Andy sat in his West Village apartment in front of a plate of scrambled eggs. A half of an English muffin was also present, all ready for Ben to enjoy. However, Ben was not a fan of these eggs. And he made sure Andy knew all about it.

“Ben, what’s the problem with [how] I make eggs?” the Watch What Happens Live host asked, looking at his off-camera son. “They’re too soft,” Ben replied. In response, Andy asked, “They’re too soft? I think these are hard eggs.”

But Ben held firm, as only children can. So Andy relented, saying, “They’re too soft? That’s the feedback.” But Ben wanted the last word, so he stressed again, “I just don’t like your eggs … for no reason.”

Ben said what he said. Period.

Ben Cohen has never met a gingerbread house he hated eating, much to the chagrin of Andy Cohen

Dear Ben, this next reel made us laugh hard because when we think about snacks, we also dream about iced creations with carb-heavy bases. This world is taxing, and we all deserve little treats.

But once again, Andy and his pesky questions did not pass. Cue another hysterical morning at the Cohen residence in NYC. Over on Instagram, Andy posted a reel showing off the latest incident and E! News picked it up.

When Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos gift you a gingerbread house, you respect the structure and let it sit. Unless, that is, you are Ben.

“Ben, I don’t like coming downstairs and finding you with a gingerbread house in your mouth. Do you understand me? Why do you do that?” Andy asked with a raised eyebrow at his miniature crime boss son, Ben.

“It’s just so yummy,” Ben relatably clapped back, sounding like an adult caught eating snacks in their bed late at night. But, as Andy reminded his son, he told him not to “eat the gingerbread house. I’m sure it is yummy, but I don’t think you’re supposed to eat it, Ben.”

“It tastes like something so good, like a cookie or something,” Ben stressed, adding, “it tastes delicious like daddy!”

We hear you, Ben. Cookies are king. As are some dads.

Andy Cohen gives up as Ben Cohen hides and eats chips behind a chair

Parenting is difficult at best. But I have to hand it to Andy. His patience is saint-like, and how he speaks to his children is informative and kind, even when his son Ben keeps eating as his little heart pleases.

Once again, when Andy posts something involving his children, people notice. Following another sneaky treat session shared by Andy, The Today Show got in on the chatter, resharing.

“Ben, what are you doing hiding behind a chair with two bags of chips at seven in the morning?” Andy asked his son. As crunching sounds chimed from off-camera, Ben answered, “Uh, eating chips because I love chips.”

Trying to parent his firm and funny son, Andy asked, “Can I make you a real breakfast, please, instead?” But Ben insisted, saying, “First, I eat this.” Then, Ben confessed, “I do it every day.” SAME, Ben.

“You do it every day now? You hide and eat chips?” Andy asked, shocked. But then, Andy relented, admitting, “I don’t blame you. I love chips too … but chips aren’t a breakfast food.”

Page Six shared another of our favorite reels, this time featuring Lucy. Shared via his Stories, Andy asked Lucy how Daisy Duck behaved overnight. This question made sense to his followers, as Lucy had been stressing over her fighting stuffies for days.

“She’s nice,” she answered. But Ben disagreed, telling their father, “Snoopy hit Lucy last night.” When Andy told Lucy that this did not happen, Lucy, like Ben, held firm, stating, “He did.”

“No, he didn’t,” Andy chuckled. “But as Lucy explained, Snoopy did square off with her, hitting her in the eye. As any father would, Andy states that he is “going to talk to all the stuffies today” to try and stop their senseless acts of violence.

But then, Lucy admits, “Yesterday, I hit Anna.” Sighing, Andy says that hitting is a no-no.

Not even Andy Cohen is marked safe from car rides with children

Car rides are fun, especially when small children are along for the ride. Sometimes. Andy knows this, as many of his reels take place in his car. But our favorite car reel thus far is from Spring Break, when Andy drove Ben and Lucy to a nearby museum.

“Lucy, say poo-poo,” Ben begins as Andy sighs. Taking over this chat, Andy asks his little girl to say her name instead. “No, Dad, you don’t tell me what to say,” Ben answers for his sister. Ben next asks, “Daddy, when in the world are we going to be at the museum?”

But before Andy could answer, Ben said he would prefer to nix the museum and head home. “Dad, please, don’t take me there,” Ben pleaded.

Then, Lucy finally chimes in, saying only the word “Dada” on repeat. As her little “Dada(s)” sounded, Andy lovingly answered, “Yes, Lucy?”

Andy then passed the buck back to Ben, asking his son to teach Lucy a new word. “Lucy, say poo-poo,” Ben asked again. And scene.

Watch What Happens Live, where Andy often shares tidbits about his children, is streaming on Peacock.
