Melissa Gorga Gives RHONJ Reboot Update: ‘They’re Going To Keep a Couple’

Real Housewives of New Jersey fans have been waiting for news about Season 15 for a long time. Even the RHONJ cast is in the dark about the show’s future. Now Melissa Gorga is giving her opinion about the RHONJ reboot, and it may be the best-case scenario.

Several of Melissa’s co-stars have been vocal about their feelings about New Jersey’s pause. While Teresa Giudice found the time off “relaxing,” Dolores Catania didn’t feel the same. “I feel like a relationship breakup,” she previously explained. “You take a little break and then you’re like, okay, I want to start going again.” Plus, Dolores feels like the Bravo bosses may be angry at the cast for their divisive behavior.

Well, Melissa weighed in on RHONJ’s return, and how Bravo will handle the casting. “This is my opinion: They’re going to do some type of hybrid. They’re going to keep a couple, bring some new faces in – which I think it’s needed, by the way,” Melissa told Extra. “I’m not mad at it. I’m looking to having my summer off, you know. Every summer we film at my shore house, so I’m excited to actually have a summer.” Then her husband, Joe Gorga, chimed in. “She wants to hang out with me.”

As for other cast members being frustrated by the pause? The owner of Envy by Melissa Gorga is unbothered. “I know everybody’s mad at it. I’m really not,” she stated. And Melissa doesn’t think that RHONJ is ending. “I think they’re regrouping … Jersey’s not going anywhere – I don’t think it’s happening,” she continued.

“I don’t think they’re going to redo the whole cast. I think they’re going to keep a couple and bring a couple and, you know, who knows?” Melissa added, “We’ll see what happens.” Meanwhile, Andy Cohen has repeatedly shouted into the universe that there is zero casting news for RHONJ. However, when there is, it will come directly from Andy or Bravo. Bloop!
