Everyone’s favorite yachtie is heading out for a different reality show! Below Deck star Aesha Scott and her fiancé, Scott Dobson, are getting ready to team up for the adventure of a lifetime. It’s just another addition to her ever-expanding reality TV resume.
Of course, the Kiwi reality star has made us laugh on multiple Below Deck franchises. She also made a brief appearance on the final season of Winter House and came in third place on Australia’s version of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Now, she and Scotty are teaming up to embark on The Amazing Race.
Aesha Scott joins The Amazing Race Australia with fiancé Scott Dobson
The Amazing Race Australia cast hasn’t officially been confirmed. However, the news of Aesha and Scott joining the competition arrived via Australia’s News.com when eagle-eyed fans spotted the cast and crew at the Sydney airport, which basically spoiled all of the casting details in one go.
Although Aesha is the only Bravolebrity in the mix, reality TV fans from Down Under will definitely recognize some of the faces headed off for the race. The cast includes Big Brother host Gretel Killeen, Australia Idol’s Rob Mills, and Dessert Masters judge Melissa Leong.
The news of Aesha and Scott joining The Amazing Race cast comes nearly a year after the two announced their engagement. The two adventurers have been together for nearly five years and spent a chunk of that time living in an ambulance they converted into an apartment. With that in mind, we think The Amazing Race will be right up their alley. If they win, that money will probably go straight into their wedding fund.
The Amazing Race Australia will air on the Aussie network Ten later this year.
