The blossoming romance between Harry van Vliet and Brianna Duffield on Below Deck Down Under Season 3 is a joy to watch. At times there’s miscommunication, but it’s reminiscent of how most relationships are in their first few months. Each person in the partnership is working out how to tread around the other. So, seeing the realism of a real-world relationship take place on the Below Deck Down Under superyacht is a real treat. Now, Harry’s delving into his boatmance. We’ve got all the juice below!
Are Below Deck’s Harry Van Vliet and Brianna Duffield still together?

Below Deck Down Under viewers will have to wait until the end of Season 3 to find out if Harry and Bri are still dating. Despite talking about their connection, Harry didn’t reveal the major detail that fans want to hear.
Speaking with Us Weekly, Harry admitted he cringed while watching recent episodes back. “I thought I was all good,” he said. “I had everything under control with Bri; I thought we were both on the same page but now watching it back, it looks like I’m not doing the right thing.” Relationships are hard to navigate at the best of times, let alone in a work environment. Harry seemed to simply be doing his best.
“We are on a busy charter so there’s a lot [going on]. Obviously I’ve got a sore thumb,” Harry continued. “I’m trying to stay employed because if I slack off, [Captain] Jason [Chambers] is probably going to fire me. So there’s a lot of things going on. But that’s probably one of the things I should have prioritized a bit more,” he added of his relationship with Bri.
Below Deck Down Under’s cheeky chap Harry initially wanted to hold his cards “closer” to his chest. He did, after all, suffer heartbreak during his first season. “I wanted to make sure that I don’t open the floodgates and let all my feelings out like I did in Season 2,” he explained. “It looks like I’m doing too much. It looks like last time I let it all out too quickly. Now, I’m being too slow.”
Speaking about his future with Bri, Harry gave some hints, but didn’t give the game away. “It’s very hard,” he admitted. “Especially when two people meet from different sides of the world. But whenever I meet someone have a boatmance with them, I’m always looking for The One. And definitely Bri and I were matching each other’s energy, so we click and we get along. You have to wait and see but we are definitely on the right track as long as I pick up my game.”
That sounds very positive to me!
Below Deck Down Under continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo.
