There are a million and one ways that Real Housewives earn their money: marriage, scams, insurance, or sometimes a combination of the three. However, Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie Angela Oakley wants the world to know that she got her money the old-fashioned way. She worked for it.
In RHOA Season 16, Episode 2, Angela declared herself a “self-made millionaire.” Of course, her marriage to former NBA star Charles Oakley also doesn’t hurt.

With each episode of Season 16, we’re learning more and more about the new RHOA cast. The premiere episode gave us a lot of tea on Shamea Mortion Mwangi, but Episode 2 gave Angela a moment to shine.
During the episode, “Hot Dogs & Hot Mics,” Angela gave us the low-down on her relationship with Charles. The two tied the knot back in 2016, and she said their romance kicked off when they lived in the same condo building. The fact that she was neighbors with an NBA player says everything you need to know about this woman.
“I am a self-made millionaire,” Angela declared in a confessional.
“There’s not a dollar I don’t want,” she continued. “I bought five properties that I am currently renovating [and] trying to sell. I will not let go until it’s finished. Because I feel like if I let go, I give up on everything I’ve been working for the past three years.”
Since Angela loves making money, it’s probably only a matter of time before she uses her new platform on RHOA for some new business ventures. It could be joggers or maybe three-wick candles, but we know it’s coming. Angela is a businesswoman.
