In The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16, Episode 3, “High Notes and Cheap Shots,” the tension continued as the rest of the group tried to make sense of Dennis and Drew’s situation. However, we all know that clarity never comes easily when you’re dealing with Drew.

Still reeling from last week’s argument with Dennis, Porsha met up with her mom for some pampering. Meanwhile, Drew put the finishing touches on her album, and Kelli planned a mommy-and-me shopping event for the ladies. However, in true Real Housewives fashion, the event went downhill when Angela and Shamea started making digs at each other. Plus, we finally got the Season 16 RHOA taglines! Keep on reading for the full breakdown of RHOA Season 16, Episode 3!

Brit’s issues with Kenya started to emerge

We all know that the scandal between Kenya and Brit derailed Season 16. We just don’t know how they got there. This week, we finally started to see it coming to the surface. At the top of Episode 3, Brit told her husband’s entire family how she felt like Kenya was mean to her at Shamea’s birthday party.

“Everybody was cool,” Brit told her family before complaining about Kenya’s remarks about her missing wedding band.

“There won’t be no problems if she keeps it cute,” she continued.

It sounds like Brit took a 10-second interaction with Kenya and decided to run with it. Rookie Housewives always try to go after the big dogs in their first season. This is no different.

However, Brit has much bigger issues in her life than a dig from Kenya. She really, really, wants to have a baby, but her husband is cold and distant. She also revealed that her sisters don’t talk to her because they fell out over her insurance business. This girl has a lot going on, and Kenya should be the least of her concerns.

Kelli and Porsha smoothed things over

During the RHOA Season 16 premiere, Kelli made a comment about how Porsha “took” Falynn Pina’s man when she married Simon. Regardless of how accurate that was, Porsha felt offended. This week, we saw the ladies hash it out.

The two met up at a restaurant, where Porsha ordered the most Atlanta meal imaginable — a strawberry Hennessy margarita with shrimp and grits. It didn’t take long for them to realize that the whole thing was a misunderstanding. They became fast friends!

“Kelli is a beautiful woman, but she has a lot of personalities,” Porsha said in a confessional interview.

Kelli responded in her confessional with the perfect shade. She said, “I have different personalities, and she has different men, so what difference does it make?”

Drew kept on singing the blues

Elsewhere in Atlanta, Drew was in the studio putting the finishing touches on her album, which is being executively produced by Dennis the Hot Dog King. She invited Cynthia, Kenya, and Angela to sit in on the session.

Dennis wasn’t there. Of course, Kenya immediately asked the question we were all wondering. She asked, “Is Dennis supposed to be here in the room?”

Once again, Drew started defending their working relationship, claiming that it’s “strictly business.” She has him saved in her phone as “Dennis Bro,” and she had a million and one different excuses for why she’s not wrong here.

You can always count on Kenya to keep it real, and she straight-up told Drew that she was dead wrong for working with Dennis. Auntie Cynthia chimed in about how in 2015, she and Kenya were in the same boat.

Kenya hired Cynthia’s ex for the Life Twirls On pilot, but they talked about it first. Drew didn’t talk to Porsha, and that’s problematic. With that in mind, Cynthia gave Drew some parting words.

“Baby daddies hit different,” Cynthia warned.

Is Shamea the new bone collector?

The Bone Collector of RHOA used to be Shereé Whitfield. It was a role that she carried with pride for many, many years. We’re still sad that she’s not on this season, but in RHOA Season 16, Episode 3, we’re starting to see that Shamea is the one who will carry on the Bone Collector’s legacy.

In just three episodes, she has confronted Drew about her relationship with Dennis. She clashed with Angela, and she told Porsha that Kelli was being shady about her marriage to Simon. She’s doing this all while navigating her children’s medical issues, and it’s impressive.

In this episode, Porsha met up with her mom to get her caught up on all of the drama. Ms. Diane quickly pointed out how Shamea’s behavior seemed questionable. Why is she so eager to stir up so much mess when she knows Porsha is going through a messy divorce?

“I know you don’t want to hear it, you and Shamea have been friends since y’all was in high school, but you’ve got to watch the dog that brings the bone,” Ms. Diane said.

The claws came out at Kelli’s shopping event

In a fabulous display of wealth, Kelli planned an all-cast event at the Atlanta Balmain store. It was a mommy-and-me event, and all of the Housewives brought their daughters. It was for a good cause. Everyone had matching outfits. It was seriously cute, and Kelli was excited to host her first-ever luxury shopping event.

“I literally closed down the Balmain store, so if you’re coming to my event, you’re leaving with something,” Kelli teased in a confessional.

Unfortunately for Kelli, the luxurious event got shaken up by drama between her fellow newbies. Angela tried approaching Shamea about their previous disagreement, and the two got into a hilariously shady back-and-forth.

“That’s not the temperature in the room that I like to operate in, so if there’s a time that we can talk, I would like that,” Angela told Shamea.

At first, Shamea seemed open to the olive branch. However, she quickly pivoted and accused Angela of acting like “Drew’s assistant.” She tried walking away, but Angela kept pressing her.

Angela replied, “You’re a mean girl. It flows with your name, Shameana. You’re a mean girl.”

Still trying to walk away, Shamea replied, “If you don’t take it back with that ’99 nose.”

Without missing a beat, Angela clapped back, “Okay, Flavor Flav,” and y’all, this is the Atlanta we’ve been missing. There was so much shade thrown in less than a minute that we have no clue if anyone actually bought anything from Balmain. Other Housewives should take notes; this is how it’s done.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta continues on Bravo every Sunday at 8/7c.
