These days, everyone wants to be a DJ. You make one good playlist and all of a sudden, you’re a professional. The latest to join the trend is Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks. She just got booked to perform at WeHo Pride’s Outloud Music Festival, and you’re going to gag over some of the A-list performers headlining this thing.
RHOSLC’s Meredith Marks is a DJ now
WeHo Pride announced the lineup for their annual music festival last week. The headliners for this year include Grammy winners Lil Nas X, Lizzo, and Kim Petras. That’s a decent lineup, and it all goes down in Los Angeles on May 31 and June 1.
As you look further down the list, you’ll see a few emerging artists like Rose Gray and Flyana Boss. There’s also a handful of RuPaul’s Drag Race stars like Alyssa Edwards and Sasha Colby. Then, all of a sudden, there’s our girl Meredith, plopped right in the middle of the lineup.
DJing is just one more thing that Meredith can add to her always-expanding resume. When we first met her on RHOSLC, she talked about how she had a legal background but was not a practicing lawyer. She also has her own jewelry company, and most recently, she developed a caviar line.
In 2023, Meredith and her husband launched a podcast called Hanging By A Thread. However, there haven’t been any new uploads since February 2, 2024. Probably because she was learning how to DJ.
Of course, reality stars trying to DJ isn’t a new phenomenon. Paris Hilton has been doing it for years. She’s also on the WeHo Pride lineup, but the jury is still out on whether or not she’s ever actually touched a mixer. Plus, Meredith’s fellow Real Housewife Dorinda Medley is currently accepting bookings for DJ gigs. Maybe they can do back-to-back DJ sets at this year’s BravoCon.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is streaming on Peacock.
