After the latest headlines surrounding Luis Ruleas and his multi-million dollar tax debt, some fans are feeling like this guy has been nothing but bad news for Teresa Giudice. However, there is one thing that he did get right. He helped smooth over things between her and Jeff Lewis. That’s no easy task, so let’s give credit where it’s due.

The Flipping Out star recently sat down on Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast with Real Housewives producer Alex Baskin. During the interview, they talked about everything from the origins of Flipping Out to the massive payday Jeff secured for the first season. Towards the end of the pod, they started talking about all of his feuds with Bravolebs, including his beef with the OG of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
You might remember when Watch What Happens Live celebrated its 15th anniversary, and Tre and Jeff were both guests during the special episode. Andy Cohen asked if the two were on good terms, but at the time, Teresa was still harboring some resentment over something Jeff said about RHONJ. Yes, it involved the sister-in-law.
Jeff gave an icy, on-air apology, but on Bravos’ Hot Mic podcast, he revealed that they talked even further at an after-party for the WWHL 15th anniversary. Jeff called that night a “turning point’ in their relationship, and now they’re not just good. They’re “really good.”
“I didn’t really expect much, but I went over and started — she was with [her husband] Luis,” Jeff recalled.
“We struck up a conversation. Must have been 35 minutes. And I actually really enjoyed them both,” he continued.
Although Teresa and Luis are currently struggling with over $3 million in tax debt, Jeff said they invited him over to their home. That means that this feud is officially done — for now.
“We’re in a good place now. And they even invited me over for dinner,” Jeff confirmed.
