One of the biggest friendship fallouts in Real Housewives of Beverly Hills history was between Lisa Rinna and Denise Richards. The two actors were close friends long before Lisa joined the show in Season 4. Denise soon followed suit and became a main cast member in Season 9. Everything was fine until Season 10 when everything between her and Lisa fell apart.
The infamous Brandi Glanville scandal occurred when Denise was accused of stepping out of her marriage for a romance with the controversial housewife. Not only did Denise leave the show after this chaos, but the situation caused a major rift in her friendship with Lisa. It’s been almost five years since the dramatic episode aired. Have the former long-time friends finally rekindled their friendship? Denise just gave an update.

Denise was a recent guest on SiriusXM’s The Julia Cunningham Show. During her segment, she confirmed that she and Lisa are still not on speaking terms. However, the reality TV star made it clear that she wouldn’t deny the opportunity for her and Lisa to patch things up eventually.
“I mean, I always say never say never, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon,” she explained in the March 27 episode.
The RHOBH alum also became vulnerable and shared that it was ultimately her friendship breakup with Lisa that made her leave the series.
“That was the biggest reason why I didn’t go back for a third season because it was just, well, I was like, “No one likes me on this show anymore,” so who would I even talk to except for Garcelle and I have become really good friends with Sutton, but at the time, I didn’t know her, so I just felt like I didn’t have any friends on the show.”
A reunion between the two doesn’t seem to be impossible. Lisa admitted years ago that she was too hard on Denise in their Season 10 blowup. The next step is for the two to hash out their problems face to face to see if their friendship can finally be repaired.
