Selena Gomez revealed the reason that moved one of her long-time best friends, Taylor Swift, to tears. The “Emilia Pérez” star recently sat for an interview with iHeartRadio. During her conversation with the interviewer, Gomez opened up about why Swift’s “opinions” mean so much to her. The actor-singer went on to disclose that one of her songs made Taylor Swift cry.

In a new interview with iHeartRadio, Selena Gomez has once again proved why she and Taylor Swift are BFF goals. The singer-actor gushed about how honest the multiple Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Taylor Swift is. The actor further expressed why their friendship is also valuable to her.

During the interview, Selena Gomez explained, “You know with Taylor, I value her opinion so much.” She continued, “Because she’s super honest.” The singer-actor further revealed that she always plays Swift’s songs from any of her albums to see her response to them. “It’s very helpful, that’s what I’ll say. And I love people who are honest”, Gomez added.

Selena Gomez then went on to recall the time when both she and Taylor Swift started crying after listening to her song “Lose You to Love Me” from Gomez’s third studio album, “Rare.” The artist said, “There are other knockouts like when I played her “Lose You to Love Me” before it came out, she and her amazing mom started to cry, and then I started crying.” Gomez emphasized, “It’s very sweet.”

Selena Gomez released her fourth studio album, “I Said I Love You First” this March 21, in collaboration with her fiancé and record producer, Benny Blanco. It contains 14 songs in total, including “Younger and Hotter Than Me”, “Sunset Blvd”, “Call Me When You Break Up” featuring Gracie Abrams, and “Scared of Loving You”, among other tracks. Besides Abrams, other artists such as J Balvin and Tainy made guest appearances on the album.
