Bravo executive producer Andy Cohen has suggested that Garcelle Beauvais had a difficult time at The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 reunion. At one point, she walked off the set and refused to join the cast photo. Andy thinks that the negative experience was part of the reason that Garcelle chose to quit RHOBH. And in a sneak peek, it’s clear at least why one cast member, Kyle Richards, had issues with her former costar.
Certainly, it’s noticeably that Garcelle called Kyle out multiple times for failing to be transparent about her personal life. First, it had to do with her separation from estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky. More recently, Garcelle felt there were unanswered questions about Kyle’s friendship with Morgan Wade. And it seems that the RHOBH original star confronted Garcelle about it at the reunion.

According to the reunion sneak peek from People, Erika Jayne brought up the issue after also feeling aggrieved. She demanded Garcelle share the “juicy scoop” in her personal life, which the Chicago star feels was severely lacking on camera.
“I wish there was!” Garcelle answered. “But I don’t know what else I would show. I mean I work my *ss off, I’m with my children as much as I can.”
The actress and producer admitted that she’s been on “two dates” recently, with no follow-up to report. Garcelle asked, “What more do you do you want? Like, there’s nothing that I’m not showing honestly.”
Erika shrugged in response before making a blunt statement. “No, I wish you were more interesting, I guess,” she said. Garcelle shared her shock and said she thought she was “in a better place” with the Pretty Mess star than to warrant a comment like that.

Erika then brought Kyle into the conversation by pointing out how the two of them were expected to share all the details of their “ugly public divorces.” There was little compassion for discretion when Erika and Kyle’s lives were “coming apart.”
“My issue is that you have said, ‘Kyle’s not showing us her life,'” Kyle explained. “I’ve been showing so much of my life for so long. I have shown, for 14 years, my relationships with my family, falling out to my family, problems in my marriage, going through the separation has been the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through.”
Erika added, “That’s how we feel. I mean, it’s been so open and so destroyed.” Kyle said, “Literally tuning the cameras out, not even think about the cameras being there, and just saying exactly what I’m feeling.”
Well, this interaction couldn’t have helped Garcelle in her decision to leave. It will be interesting to see how the entire reunion plays out.
