One of Travis Kelceâs sports friends, Nick Wright, revealed that they havenât been in touch as much since the NFL star began dating Taylor Swift. Wright claimed they havenât âtalkedâ since Kelce got âseriousâ with Swift during an episode of his âWhatâs Wright?â podcast. The sports personality started the discussion after the Kelce brothers dabbled with the plan of inviting him on their âNew Heightsâ podcast. He even played the clip of the brothers giving him a shout-out in their recent episode, with Travis declaring, âFâking love Nick Wright.â
Nick Wright has not talked with Travis Kelce after he has been âseriousâ with Taylor Swift
Nick Wright believes he and his sports pal Travis Kelce havenât âtalkedâ ever since he got âseriousâ about dating Taylor Swift. While discussing the Kelce brothersâ shoutout to him with his co-host and son Damonza Byrd, Wright claimed, âSo, hereâs the thing!â He then proceeded to reveal that âTrav and I have not talk talked since heâs been serious with Taylor Swiftâ and become âlike a super duper celebrity.â
The sports podcaster explained why they havenât talked in a while, as he doesnât âwant to botherâ the Kansas City Chiefs tight end during the year. Then, he reasoned that âKelce was traveling the world with Taylorâ during the last off-season, which contributed to their difficulties in connecting. Wright further added he and the athlete had planned to âget togetherâ after or during the parade last year, âbut there was obviously the tragedy and the shooting at the parade, so everything got askew.â
According to Nick Wrightâs explanation, he and Travis Kelce hadnât talked in some measure after the NFL star began dating Taylor Swift. Wright remarked, âSo, I havenât talked to Trav in a while.â Nevertheless, he appreciated Kelce and his brother, Jason, for the shout-out on their âNew Heightsâ podcast, which he described as âone of the worldâs most popular podcasts.â He also claimed it would be thrilling to appear on their podcast to âjust break down the cap.â The Kelce brothers had named him as a salary cap expert who could appear in one such episode.
