The Valley’s Michelle Lally Reveals Which Director She Was Accused of Cheating With

In Season 1 of The Valley, rumors swirled that real estate agent Michelle Lally was having an affair with a well-known director. Still married at the time to her husband Jesse Lally, Michelle vehemently denied the gossip.

But a year later, Jesse and Michelle are separated and moving toward divorce. Not only is Michelle coming clean about the rumors, but she also has a new boyfriend, Aaron Nosler.

On the March 31 episode of her Pursuit of Sassiness podcast, Michelle finally admitted the name of the director with whom she was accused of cheating on her husband. “One day, I was hanging out there, and he’s actually sitting next to me,” she said. “I don’t really quite know who he is, but I see that everybody’s looking at him and wanting to talk to him. And I’m not paying any attention.” So, since she’s a real estate agent, she struck up a conversation about real estate … with Quentin Tarantino.

“It was just very good back and forth,” she continued. “He told me about the first time he bought his house and what it was like becoming a famous director while he was living in an apartment in West Hollywood. It [was] a great conversation.”

While sitting at the bar next to the two-time Academy Award winner, Michelle texted Jesse, who was a big fan. He immediately wanted to join her at the bar, but his then-wife cooled his jets.

“[Jesse] wanted to hang out,” she said. “He wanted to have his moment. [But] I’m like, ‘No, you hang out with [our daughter] Isabella. This is my moment. This was my day. And I took care of our child every day.”

Of course, it was Kristen Doute who spilled the beans in Season 1 that Michelle was having an “emotional affair” with a “secret boyfriend.” At the time, she and Jesse were still very married.

Never one to avoid the chance to stir the pot, Jax Taylor also jumped into the conversation about Michelle’s private life. “I felt very attacked, and it was just one thing after the other,” Michelle told Us Weekly at the time.

In an update on where she now stands with the Pulp Fiction director, Michelle said they’re still friends. “I actually email him here and there,” she confessed. “I even told him about our podcast. So maybe one day, I’ll have him on if he has time or if he’s around. But he’s a great friend. He’s a great person, has a lovely wife and child, and that’s it.”

The Valley Season 2 premieres April 15 at 9/8c on Bravo.
