Chase Chrisley Celebrates Sobriety After Simple Battery Arrest

Chase Chrisley is learning from his mistakes. It’s been almost “one month” without alcohol and he says he’s feeling better than he has in years. He shared his milestone on social media with a big smile and is looking much better.

ICYMI, the Chrisley Knows Best alum was arrested for simply battery after he was named a suspect in an altercation at a bar last January.

The incident took place at the Twin Peaks Sports Bar.  Allegedly he had too much drink and became disrespectful and belligerent, per the report shared by PEOPLE. When the manager asked him to leave multiple times Chase allegedly refused.

He later allegedly slapped the manager in the face twice, which he denied. The police were called and the manager “identified” Chase as the person who assaulted him although he was no longer on the scene with the police officers arrived.

Chase’s lawyers said the incident was “blown way out of proportion.” That’s not surprising. The Chrisley family in general have a habit of downplaying their bad behavior or reverting to a “victim complex”

Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley are currently incarcerated for bank and tax fraud and continue to maintain that they should be released. Savannah Chrisley has been fighting for a lighter sentence for them and fighting against the poor conditions of the prison.

In either case, it seems like Chase has made some changes in his life following the incident. He’s put the alcohol away and says he’s feeling much better.

“Almost one month alcohol-free, feeling better than I have in years. God is good,” he wrote on his Instagram caption. He was relaxing on a white lounge chair with the water behind him and the hashtags, #sober #sobriety.

Chrisley Knows Best is streaming on Peacock.
