Livvy Dunne and Paul Skenes recently had the time of their lives “playing dress up” with GQ magazine as the couple looked stunning in their cover photos. In the photoshoot, the duo posed in a cozy home with a beautiful snowy backdrop. While Dunne experimented with several different looks, Skenes stuck to his formals for most of the pictures.
In the photos, the sporty couple also wore their respective athletic attire. While the gymnast donned her sparkly leotard for one of the snaps, the baseball pitcher wore his jersey for another. Dunne incorporated the gymnast look into one of the other pictures as well, where she posed atop a piano. She wore a chic top with cutouts over a bodysuit from Ferragamo. However, she made the fit more snowy weather-friendly by layering a onesie underneath and completing the look with a pair of cozy socks.
In the interview, the couple talked about their careers and relationship. Dunne revealed that their love story did not start smoothly. She shared that their relationship was almost over before it began, exclaiming, “He wouldn’t follow me back on Instagram.” On the other hand, while Skenes knew the LSU gymnast, she was not aware of him, though she did see him out and about on campus.
They did not hit it off the first time they met, but she was determined to get to know him better. Eventually, when Skenes finally asked her out, Dunne was quick to realize she liked him. She told the outlet, “Our first and second date, I was like, Oh, I really like him.”
