Blake Lively and Taylor Swift’s friendship status reportedly has a new update as the duo has started talking again after the former’s legal drama. It was previously reported that the singer was wary of getting dragged into her friend’s legal battle with her co-star, Justin Baldoni. However, all seems well as a source stated that the pair has worked it out amongst themselves and reconciled after an apology from the actor.

Taylor Swift and Blake Lively might be on talking terms again as NewsNation recently provided an update on their friendship. A source told the outlet, “[Swift and Lively] have worked everything out.” Reportedly, the actor apologized to her former bestie, and they are back to being close friends again.
Earlier this year, the outlet reported that Swift had distanced herself from Lively after her name was brought up in the lawsuit. The actor exclaimed that she had two “dragons” who were guiding her. One was her husband, Ryan Reynolds, while the other was none other than her best friend, Taylor Swift.
The pop star was more than willing to support her friend through the Baldoni drama. However, it did not sit right with her that her name became a part of the lawsuit. One of the instances that was mentioned was when she was visiting her friend’s apartment. Justin Baldoni claimed he was “ambushed” by Lively’s husband and best friend. Both supposedly claimed that the actor’s tweaks to the script were justified as they read better.
The legal battle between the “It Ends With Us” co-stars began in December last year. Lively first filed a complaint against Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment during filming. The latter then sued her back earlier this year. The trial date has been set for March next year, with Baldoni’s lawyer unsure whether Swift will be questioned.
