Get ready to watch your favorite Netflix reality TV stars go to summer camp. On the new competition show, Battle Camp, 18 of Netflix’s biggest reality stars will compete for bragging rights, as well as cash. Past competitors from shows like Love Is Blind, Cheer and Selling the OC will live in cabins together, compete in competitions and try to win the $250,000 prize. Netflix just released an official trailer on April 7. Watch the teaser below.
The Battle Camp trailer from Netflix has arrived
“Welcome to Battle Camp,” host Taylor Lewan says. “There’ll be cozy cabins, camp crushes and a whole lot of competition.”
“Definitely not in Orange County anymore,” one competitor adds.
Tony from The Mole Season 2 says, “I don’t think I’ll be intimidated by a bunch of guys from Too Hot to Handle.”
“[Contestants] will need to win epic challenges,” Taylor continues, “endure grueling punishments, and dodge camp votes.”
“I’m a little scared of heights,” Shooby from The Circle Season 1 admits as he checks out one of the challenge structures. “This thing is massive.”
Each week, players will vote for whoever they think should go home. However, the names people vote for will go onto a spinning wheel, where chance will decide who is going home.
“Haters gonna hate,” another competitor comments. “Buh-bye!”
Ultimately, only one player can become the “Battle Camp champ.”
“We are playing a game,” another player adds. “We can act buddy-buddy, but I’m coming after your neck.”
In truth, I’m more of a Real Housewives girl than a Netflix reality fan, though this show looks like fun. It’s kind of a crossover between Big Brother and Survivor. I’ll give it a try.
Battle Camp premieres April 23 on Netflix.
