As the two newbies of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Brit Eady and Kelli Ferrell got along like a house on fire. The petite waffle queen and boss b*tch insurance owner really seemed to hit it off in the first few episodes. But news recently revealed that the two women are not in a good place. Kelli has decided to take a step back from the friendship. As Brit navigates the Bravoverse, she might be questioning where it all went wrong with Kelli.
New RHOA cast members Kelli Ferrell and Brit Eady started off as friends
Kelli came in hot to the group of peaches. She first made her grand opening into viewers’ hearts when she came for Porsha Williams right out of the gate. She questioned why she had taken another woman’s man, and even though she said it was a joke, the audience knew her motive. Brit was introduced during the same episode. She explained that she used to be a video vixen during high school and now owns her own company. Both newbies were bad*ss, and they came to work.
The duo quickly started hanging out and filming entertaining scenes together. The first few episodes of RHOA showed them opening up to one another about divorce, marriage, and business. Honestly, it seemed like a friendship made in heaven. When a franchise is given a cast shake-up, fans hope that the new women will get along and not mess with the status quo. So, to see Kelli and Brit bond was pretty great. For a hot second, it looked like we might get a new Frick and Frack. But the camaraderie was short-lived.
Brit Eady didn’t help herself with the gun comment
Kelli started to change her tune after Brit threatened Kenya Moore with a pistol. The episode that started it all showed Brit losing her cool after Kenya interrupted one too many times. The beauty queen clapped back with a simple statement, noting, “Peasants cannot come for a queen. Needless to say, the newbie was not about to be put in the corner. Surprisingly, Kenya disengaged from the discussion and chose to walk away. But Brit was not done fighting. She walked through the lobby yelling, “Let that b*tch know. I don’t play them games! I got whip, motherf*cking pistols, everything!” and “I mean, I still got my pistol so.” Whatever cool facade Brit was trying to have went right out the window at that moment. Fans and the cast took a step back from her.
Rumors of the rest of the season have spiraled and noted that Brit continues to fight with many of her co-stars. It now makes sense why the women are keeping their distance. Brit comes across as unable to control her outbursts. No one wants to be in public and have to deal with a meltdown. Angela Oakley even noted that she was getting irate calls from the vendor after Brit’s fight. Brit might just be a one-hit wonder, and she only would have herself to blame.
Kelli Ferrell is keeping her distance from Brit Eady after Kenya Moore’s RHOA exit
Kelli recently took to her Instagram Story and fired quite a shot at Brit. She wrote, “Defending somebody then experiencing why nobody likes them is so humbling.” She also posted a photo of herself and Kenya together. Kelli also shared her current situation with Brit while appearing on Watch What Happens Live. “Well, you know, friendship starts with F and unfortunately, [Brit] doesn’t know what that looks like in the alphabet.” Kelli went on to admit she was still confused by Brit’s outburst. “When I watched the episode, I heard some things that I didn’t pick up on while I was there because there was so much commotion going on, so I don’t know. The whole thing with Kenya is, she just felt like she wasn’t greeted the same way. And she had this thing with Kenya from day one.”
Currently, Brit is Kelli’s least favorite co-star. And neither one of them is speaking to one another. If I had to wager, I’d say Kelli will be welcomed back with open arms for another season, and Brit might just need to go. She’s already caused too much trouble for Bravo. And fans would rather have Kenya back since she was the heart and soul of the series.
