While on Watch What Happens Live Cynthia shared her thoughts on Kenya’s revenge porn scandal. She told Andy Cohen, “I did not know where the presentation was going, to be honest. We were there to support Kenya’s hair care spa. We’ve seen her work on this for so long. This was her moment.” The former model added, “It was just such a positive moment; we were all there to support her.” Cynthia went on to say, “I just didn’t see it coming, to be honest. I feel like it took the focus from her hair care spa, which is amazing, to this dark moment.”
Cynthia joked that she has “seen a lot. I was a part of Atlanta as a Housewife for over a decade, and I’ve seen some stuff. I’ve made mistakes on the show and I’ve seen people make mistakes. And I feel like at the end of the day, it just was beneath Kenya.” Cynthia added that everyone was “shocked. “We didn’t know what, if anything, was gonna happen, to be honest. It was also sad because we didn’t want to lose Kenya off the season because she’s a big player on the show.”
The interview ended with Cynthia sharing, “I felt like you guys, network, did such a good job, had such a great vision for Season 16 putting this specific cast together, and it’s just so unfortunate that the fans didn’t get to see it play out with the cast including Kenya.”
